Terrible decision to play Millwall in a so called friendly!
They are renowned to be the dirtiest and most physical side in the league along with the worst supporters
Hope whoever made this decision has been told they are off fixture arrangements in future
You couldn't write the script with the new season around the corner.

I don't know if you remember the County Cup, Mansfield and Nott's really competing to beat Nottingham Forest, they was proper pre-season games. Was players like Sammy Chapman better than today's players, or just stronger and didn't go down so easily, because they had a mortgage to pay?.

Can’t compare them, it’s a totally different game today. Football 50yrs ago was far more simpler than the tec game that’s played today.

Maybe they thought half of our lot needed that kick up the arse to man up. Works for me. As for millwall. It was played in spain. And there fans has reputations in the 70s/ 80s in fact most just chipped in to win Britain in bloom. Let the persons get on with it instead of wrapping them up in cotton wool. Paid enough. The good lord will look after the strong. Lower divisions look after the weak.
