September 1st 5pm 25 man squads to be named. Bit of a complicated faff to understand. Wonky will put us right how it works . Unlimited under 21s, eight homegrowns registered for 36 months with club before 21 yrs old etc. How do you see our 25. Who will not make it. We currently have 26 on the Forest web site with more to come. I'll have ago and probably get it wrong ?♂️

Johnson, Mbe Soh, Williams and Mighten are still technically U-21s, plus the obvious younger players.
Taylor will more than likely head out, as will Mighten, probably, so we still have 4 spots left, ideally Aouar for CAM, Maupay for a fifth ST, another WB, and if rumours are true, the Brazilian CAM in January. Squad seems pretty perfect if that’s how things end up.

I don't think Mbe Soh qualifies as U21 because he's French and hasn't been trained at an English club for the required amount of time. Might be wrong.

Doesn’t qualify as home-grown, but age is age and he still qualifies as an U-21 ??.

I've always thought it was 8 homegrown players, 4 of which must've been trained at your club. I think a period of 3 years qualifies a player as homegrown (think they reduced it from 5 years? ) .
Might depend how long Mbe Soh has been at the club. Is it over 3 years? ?♂️.

Now we've signed Kouyate, we don't need a 7th CD anyway. Soh needs minutes so should go no loan. I can't help wondering whether we could do with another RWB if Biancone is mainly CD cover?
