After watching the game yesterday it is obvious that we are woefully short of quality in centre midfield, if Colback starts next week and Cafu is our only other option which now looks likely then our recruitment team need to pull their finger out, our strongest players yesterday were the back line Worrall Cook and McKenna, O'Brien looks quality, Toffalo was ok as a replacement left wing half obviously bought in as a squad player but let's hope Richards is not out for to long, up top I thought Surridge did well but reservations about Awoniyi he just doesn't look to have the quality but I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, I watched most of it on a dodgy Spanish stream with no sound. Buffering ruined it, almost missed our goal. I'm feeling a bit troubled about where the goals are going to come from. We didn't create a great deal (unless I missed our best chances waiting for the screen to refresh! )

We've also just signed Mangala for CM.
I've just heard that Cornet has turned down our personal terms. He must be asking for astronomical wages. There is always a chance he might change his mind when nobody is prepared to pay what he wants.

Disagree on O Brien , offered very little going forward and would be behind colback and Yates in my opinion.
I don’t think the pair from Huddersfield should have been signed - if it’s for back up nonissue wit that but shouldn’t be first choice.
Cook looks past it, but I think he’s back up so good work there .
Worrall might struggle in prem but I’m going to back him to step up as he’s a great lad.
We miss Spence’s direct attacking football, Williams is a different type of full back - a very good one - but we’ve lost an attacking edge there .
Henderson looks a cracking signing .
Someone kept saying last year Grabban slowed us down, will his ghost Must be hanging around because we were very slow yesterday, I didn’t enjoy the game at all and felt Valencia looked able to accelerate through us with ease.
If there is more quality coming in we’ll have a chance but that 11 yesterday might struggle .
I’d go with colback at left wing back over Toffolo .

Hard to judge a players ability based on a friendly. Cooper would know who is worthy of playing as he sees them every day. We don't have that luxury.
