Ok so a week away from kicking off a new era for our amazing football club. I’m optimistic and still have that excited feel good vibe I had for most of last season. My current thought is we will stay up. Just need a few more attack minded midfielders and a another striker. I hope the current 11 new signings all contribute.
How many of our signings over the last few years did not really make their mark under cooper? Like last season -: Mbe Soh, Laryea, Cafu, De Silva, Ojeda, As always we get over excited about a new signing but the truth is none of these really took off. So I would say approx 50% of our last few years signings have flopped. Also Cooper doesn’t like to squad rotate, even though we played 55 or so games last year, so when we play 38 plus a few cup games spread over 9 months I feel a lot of our players will spend time out of the first team. So just wondering if any of the current signings will not come off.
Any how, not worried just intrigued and can’t wait to get started now.
