SC said today all the numbers quoted about Lingard in the press are total bunk and that he's been brilliant in training. Yates says his presence has lifted the squad moral a few points so, as far as I'm concerned, it's all good.

Just listened to Coops interview from last night. He was not a happy chappy, he seemed well pi€€ed off with the first team squad players. You would think they would be busting a gut to get noticed, a very disjointed performance that shows why we are signing so many.

I watched the interview. I like cooper as a man and manager. Did anyone else notice how he phrased the question over mangala. He more or less said he hasn’t got a clue who they are looking at or who is coming in. Whether it was a careless brush off I think he let his guard down.

I think Cooper gives that impression so he doesn't have to give out information and get more questions about transfers fired his way.

I doubt he does not know what player's are being looked at?
Cooper is an Astute manager who wants to know what's happening with player's/ and those being looked at.
Don't read too much into friendlies and a peed off Manager's demeanor.
