If United don't want to sell Garner, it's tough titties. Teams wanted to buy Johnson, but they can't because we don't want to sell him. That's the way it is.
We can't wait until other team's players contracts run down. We need experienced Prem players NOT Championship ones IMO.

Oh, he is contracted at United until 2024, but they have an option to extend that by a year. So if they don't want to sell, then he's going on loan to another club or staying put.

I think if Cooper really rated Garner something would have happened by now, decent player at championship level but not good enough for the prem., as a few have mentioned on here his free kicks were generally rubbish and if he's not better than Fred forget him.

Garner won't be coming back
He's determined to be a man utd first team player
In all honesty he won't name the grade for me
They are a club in transition and even sancho at 90 million struggling to get in their side says he will struggle
Man utd demand instant success so will buy instead of giving the likes of garner a chance.

I don't think he will make it at ManU either. What I'm saying is, how much is he really worth to utd, given that he's got 2 yrs left and isn't going to make the 1st team.
He could be a useful player for us and worth a gamble.

Watched James Garner live in Perth last night and from what I saw when he came on against Villa, I’m not sure if he is prem quality at this stage, mind that’s on on the 25 minutes or so that he was on the pitch.
