A few months back a friend of mine who is into dementia went to a conference at AEK, Athens and met our owner. My friend rightly got the impression that he our owner cared about the health and welfare of our players. I get the impression from some on here that once a player is injury prone or in a position of career ending situations it's time to" get rid". I have read it on this site, when players give there services and receive a knock it could be serious, not like a knock on a normal 9 to 5 job.

Agree3 Disagree0

In any big business your biggest asset is your workforce. Their health and safety is your major concern.

Plenty of dangers in normal 9 to 5 jobs mate and plenty of people who struggle in those jobs who can’t afford private healthcare etc.

I don’t understand how any premiership club or supporter would not want Jessie Lingaard in there squad, he’s probably one of the best attacking players in the premiership and he’s an England international, it’s a no brainier for me with him being a free agent to, we are not going to get many chances to sign the likes of this lad…. well not in our first season back in the premiership anyway, I’d be honoured and proud to see him come and sign for us……. I’ve got everything crossed this one happens.

Go to agree jolly - it’s down to cooper and Co to keep the other players happy and possibly discuss wages and the benefits of having a player like him. I don’t like to think too much about the money side of it (as I’ve said so many times - none of it makes any sense) but he is a quality player so if he comes I’ll be happy. Trust in cooper and Dane to get it right ?.

Jolly: waaaay too much per week. Want 180,000 per week and was 'only' on 75,000 per week at man utd. Yeah, played some decent stuff for West ham, but even they - with a huge amount of expendable money - won't pay this much. He was awful at man utd, and lost his England place, so they shipped him out. I'd say pass.

Spot on 2tone got to agree with what you say too, I trust and have total faith in cooper and Murphy to get it right and get the right players in, but if our great owner wants to bring a quality premier league player to our famous club then as a supporter I would more than welcome it…. chimaera71 I get what your saying and respect your point and concerns, but facts are facts we need players like this in our team to stand a fighting chance of mixing it with the likes of Man U, Chelsea ect so we’ve got to take a chance on a player like this at some time or another so why not give Jessie a fair chance to prove himself at Forest!

Id much rather Davis. Much cheaper over the course of a few years and will have sell on value, not to mention upsetting the dressing room.
If he was on 75 at ManU and now thinks he's worth 180, I don't quite see how that stacks up. Clearly has no interest in who he really plays for and for me that speaks volumes. Also, he's been an anti climax frankly.
