Reading Stan Collymore today about the brilliant spirit that existed during his time at Forest.
He didn’t experience the same spirit at Liverpool and as we know his career didn’t crack on .
He soon on his way and I think the same thing will happen to Spence , some times a player finds his spiritual home and his form shows this but this doesn’t always ever again and they probably like Stan regret it ,Stan seems to return here regularly so still as that feeling now ,be careful what you wish for!

Good post mate and I see your point, I’d have liked to have seen Spence back but I can honestly say when Stan left it changed the way I view football and footballers forever, as let’s face it, he joined a pretty uninspiring Liverpool in the grand scheme of things, it made me realise that Forest aren’t an elite club and and will always be a selling club and that’ll never change.

Not sure about spence. He could be brilliant then very ordinary, went missing last few months. We did not put a bid in for him, that says much about his perceived brilliance. I believe wilder when he says the reason that the deal to spurs took so long was that no other club even Forest enquired about him. Reading between the lines spence was holding out for Forest to come in for him. Something’s surprise me in football and this is one of them. I mean £12mil is a low fee for the esteme we held him in and to be fair he was very good for much of his time with us and had tongues wagging all over the country, apparently….

I disagree under this new ownership and management 2star mate. Why are we a selling club now. Let's be honest here. We've kept some of our best. You actually had me thinking. The last decent player was cash . And tbh we needed that money . Only to waste it. But i really don't get where your coming from now. We are a business on the up without a doubt. Actually sounds like one of skegs/balloons wind ups

I believe jonno has only signed so we get the biggest payout possible in the future . Credit to his dad I think he’s said
‘look son, we owe these guys big time, they gave you your start, it’s prem football, you’re young and have years ahead of you, sign a big contract and you’re big move will come. Meanwhile let’s make sure they get the maximum money achievable for you when the time comes ‘

Every team has it's business 2star. At any level. I mean we've hung onto arter. No but seriously the last years we've had fck all to sell. We even put hughton on gardening duties. He dug his way to south Africa . Or was it ? anyway. I can only disagree totally mate. I think the greek apologies as i can never spell his name. Has nothing but commitment and goals. Along with cooper who would never have signed up unless these were clear.
