I remember the 70s, the good old days. I've told ya all at the time i dedicated most of my time to bowie, seeing him when i could etc. Along with loads of other gigs from the likes of roxy music etc. My 1st wife lived in Chiswick at the time. She worked on formula 1 racing, meeting all the greats of that time. Only admin but was proud of her. (I've never been into it though) i remember taken the rides on the tubes on london, a geordie full of pride wearing the mascara shopping for gear that would be light years ahead of the north east. reminds me of the wanderers film actually, trying ta get home without a fight. Obviously not all goes well but most of it was just brilliant. Believing in myself and what i wanted outta life at that time. I know a lot from that era had there own ideas. But such was mine. Anyway in-between i'd go to toon games. Just ta gel in as ya do malcolm Macdonald, gowling, jimmy smith, etc etc. One night midweek derby, me and my mates left early. Sunderland fkn blokes were chasing me around Newcastle. We split up. I remember running into a papershop that was open late and behind the counter . I was 14 yr old for fcks sake. Never forget it or them makem t#ats. But as i grow older. I realise not everyone is like that. Its a very small minority reds. And for that reason. As i age and grow wiser. i'm not saying i agree with derby but i hope they survive. There's a lot of young kids etc that should never be deprived of there home team. don't act hard and bitter. Just saying.

No problem with the sheep surviving Bowie, I just want them to suffer and squirm and become more of an embarrassment than they already are.

Bought he first "Now that's What I Call Music" in 1984
Had a CB Radio called myself "Stool Pidgeon"
After the Kid Creole hit lol!
Had a Ziggy 4 aerial, and a "Tweetie" Mic, some brilliant copies from all over Europe.
