Looks like we're giving the club captain a new contract, thought we had seen the last of him, he couldn't hack it in the premier league in his twenties never mind at 35, we played better football when he was out of the team last season and shoe horned him in when he was fit, he should never have been captain and if he does get a contract it should be pay as you play and not a retirement pension plan like many before him , backwards step IMO.

Harsh mate grabbans goals have kept us in the championship and the players like him and Cooper obviously wants him to stay so I'm happy to go along with that decision.

They should be concentrating on giving Cooperman and Johnson new contracts. I would argue with a pay for play for Grabs though.

I trust Cooper knows what he's doing with Grabban. don't see a problem with it.
SC won't sort his new deal until Summer is out of the way I'd imagine. He'll sign for sure, I'm just presuming the backroom team are quite busy at the moment!

Ff79 Grabban did score some important goals last season but another competent striker would have scored goals the way we were playing that is why when he was out injured it made no difference, so another year older and playing against more superior players is hard to see the logic unless it is pay when you play, I also more than anything else believe moving forward that Worrall should be club captain.

I think they are lining up Grabban for a coahing role in the future. While he is doing his badges, he is a useful squad player for backup and possible super-sub. I have noo problem with it.
Worrall is the captain though. Simple as that!
