Morning all, asked the question in my last post, as anyone attend a match, going in one of the boxes, as I never have, as to what it's like ie atmosphere and feeling part of the day, got no answer from any of you, not even the Ed's, don't want to waste my money if its crap. Got this chance to be in one at Wembley, myself and my travelling oap fan's .
Do I take it no one knows anything about these boxes then, anyone spoken to anyone who's been in one? Come on lads help us owd men out here, it could be a great experience, once in a life time thing or complete waste of time and money .

{Ed001's Note - never been in a box mate, can't be that bad or the rich wouldn't pay for one, they would just always go in the stands.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hospitality and the boxes are a totally different day dream team - you’d still have a great day with your group but would miss a lot of the build up and general atmosphere of the day as you generally have to get in early for the food and drink. It’s an experience but if you’ve got the option I’d go in the stands every time. Maybe try the hospitality another time at the CG, it’s great when you get the ex players coming round 👍.

I've never been in a box but I've been behind the glass in the Trent End. Comfier seats, nice and warm, your own coat peg and access to a large bar area. All of this but it's still not for me, they pipe the noise in from outside but it's still not the same. The atmosphere is almost non existent.
Wembley might be totally different though, don't you sit outside for the match?

Thanks 2tone certainly don’t want to miss out on any part of the day mate.
Thanks to you as well Ed, it’s just family relations sons firm have a box at the game, we were asked if we would like to go in it.

{Ed001's Note - sorry I didn't answer previously.}

Been ln a box once a business thing it's ok had a meal and a few drinks but there was a couple of ladies there not for the football and they were chatting continuously one of their husbands told them to be quiet or go for a walk quite entertaining.

Thanks red think we’ll give the box a miss mate.

{Ed007's Note - I've been in boxes at a few grounds in Scotland and at Old Trafford and like folk are saying mate it depends what kind of experience you want - if you're looking for a lads type of day out forget about going into a box/hospitality. It's all very reserved (no not prebooked lol) there's usually a dress code as well and the atmosphere is very flat. It's something to try and do maybe with your Mrs or a treat for your auld dad - maybe you are an auld dad lol and get someone to treat you.
My family had access to one at Celtic Park for years and me and my cousins were WELL warned by our dads if we went in there we had to be on our best behaviour at all times.}

{Ed007's Note - 👍

Done the boxes a few rimes once with my old company
Had a box at main road. Went for the last game of the season. Basically on best behaviour. Told to pencil mark all the spirit bottles as they would be locked away for summer 😆. It’s ok as it was free but like others have said
Its not a lads day. Always feel like the parents are watching.
Funny thing about that game. At full time it came over the tannoy. Please refrain from running on the pitch like
The naughty forest fans did at celhurst did yesterday.
Guess where I was the day before 😃. And I was on the pitch.
