No interest in woman’s football at all especially at the so called higher levels in fact I think it’s sexist that the clubs have to provide access to stadiums, facilities etc through fear from equality groups. If a woman’s club started from scratch and generated income and interest to get their own facilities fair play but that hasn’t happened. Maybe you think I’m a dinasaur or worse but I believe in getting things through hard work and not going on the back of others. Not meant to offend but just my honest view on it.

2tone, my mate has a harsher view. If we have to tolerate women's football, presenters and commentators in the men's game due to equality, then pay them the same as their male equivalents. PL top scorer in the women's PL on £350,000 per week? If not, why not? Football is a money driven circus, equal rights for all women in every job, is a farce. Politics, political correctness? Please leave sport alone. How soon before we a transgender playing for a woman's side? 🤦‍♂️.

I'd love to be the physio for the NFFC women's side, in fact I'd do the job for free as long as I get to use my magic sponge on them, I'm sure I can think of one or two jobs the ladies could do for me in return.

On a serious note the women play to a very high standard. As far as being in some way “parasitic “ on the mens game I’d just point out that the players are, at best, semi pros and have a job and families. It’s a big commitment with training, injuries etc. They pkay for the love of the game and to be the best they can be at their sport. Today they have brought great credit to our beloved NFFC and I personally take my hat off to them.

High standard, have jobs, training, injuries, families, love of the game etc. - sounds like thousands of other people who have never had the chance to play or train on quality pitches or use great facilities. Or get prime time tv coverage without any viewers just to tick an equality box? Anyone fancy a game of netball? 🤣.

On a serious point 2tone has a good point as do you stokey bringing to light a great result and accomplishment in the proud red of Nottingham forest football club, for which we all should be proud, not trying to belittle there achievement in any way, as I'm sure they work hard with full commitment and gusto so yes well done.
I think 2tone is getting a good point across too saying that the women are using the men's game as a spring board to highlight there achievements on the back of the men's nottingham Forest football clubs achievements and famous history which is true and not just based on nottingham forest fc women's achievements alone.

I would actually stop going to football matches if the missus wanted to go.
To me it's my time with my mates, I see the missus every day I don't see my mates every day
Football is a man's game and I don't even think about watching women play
Women are different to men and clever with it, just nag at the old man long enough and he will do exactly what I want?

I’m a Realist 1951 and definitely not sexist, I appreciate that there’s some things women do as well if not better than men and I also know there’s somethings that women can’t do as well as men. Physical strength can be levelled off with mental strength and we all have strengths and weaknesses- as cooper is showing us every week a combination of assets can work together so well if they choose to do so, they can also clash and not get the results, it’s all about how you manage it.
Anyway I’m off to do the ironing and washing up 👍.
