Whenever we get within a glimmer of hope of promotion, I always hear "but we're not ready for the prem, we don't have the team". Who does? Getting promotion isn't about having a ready made team for the prem. It's about proving your good enough to have a stab at it, not forgetting the 150m odd that comes along with it. Great that Johnson and Spence will be hanging around. Hopefully in the summer we'll be in a position to get them perm and test ourselves against the best eg, Arsenal? Come on.

If it happens it happens me personally I'm not thinking about us going up I'm just enjoying what we're doing now the results have been great and as a forest fan I'm buzzing as most of you are let's get window shut and see where we are then things are looking great at the minute but as a forest fan of over 40 years and after the last 20 years I learn never to get to over excited as for Premier league my personal opinion is we just don't have the team to go up and stay in the Premier league but that's just my opinion hope I'm completely wrong I've been wrong quite a few times before so we will see.

If it wasn't for Hughton we'd probably be top 2 now. Like I said, it's not about having the team to survive in the Prem, it's about getting there. Then the 150m and red tape being cut can keep you there.

If we get to the Premier league we will deserve to be there as for would we be good enough to stay what does it matter the team get the chance to test themselves and the Premier league brings in more revenue for the club, and the owner.

Were we to go up i would be hoping to stay up the main thing though would to make sure we get past eleven points so we can give Derby a bit of stick.

They'd be 3 worst teams than us in the prem, and that's all that matters in the first season.

Lol from going down to being Premiership material happens every other year I will wait till April b4 getting to excited.

Skegsjay anyone that thinks our being certain to get to the Premier league this season are kidding themselves however many like myself think it could be possible with the way Cooper has changed things.

We are one point off the top six and have won our last four games, it is a long time since another coach got the team to do that.

Lamouchi has shown nothing can be certain.

I feel we have to look at Huddersfield, Luton and Sheff U as points dropped at home too.

You are right but every team can point to games where they lost points when they should not have done. Where we went wrong was allowing Houghton to manage any games this season, and of course Stephen Reid started off the improvement in the team.

I after disagree where we went wrong was over and over again Warburton wanted to do exactly what coopers doing now build a young squad he didn't have a decent ceo like Cooper does now but look how warbos doing now we can go through every 20 odd managers we've had over the last years and bame them all but unless you have the owners backing and the right people in charge it makes no difference it looks ike a great ceo great recruitment management and most of all looking at us not getting rid of Johnson a owner that's backing us also a Premiership manager that's the big difference.

I was only referring to where we went wrong recently though how far back you have gone you are right what you have said.

If you want to go even further back the our owners during the successful years under Clough and Taylor thought the success would last forever but took too mucch money out of the club instead of try to invest in keeping the success going.
