As for the Derby situation, there is a real possibility that they could be wound up. Mel Morris owns the stadium so it's not an asset unless he is on board. I doubt the law suit pending is the real reason why people are pulling out but it's the costs and length of the case. The EFL created this mess by not deducting points at the right time last season so if a deal is to be done it's them that should settle with Wycombe and biro. In Wycombe's case they look like coming back up so that part should be straight forward in compo and not a legal fight for league status. From what I read the £28mil being offered is just covering goodwill and not paying off the creditors so that could be millions. Morris will want his millions for the stadium so unless a very rich fool appears Derby face extinction. No one wants that and many rich commentators from Manchester watched and let Bury go under so I feel Derby are doomed.
