Just watch the Arsenal game on catchup away from the stress and passion of watching it live at the City Ground on Sunday and in a calmer and more analytical frame of mind.
I think there were 3 moments which turned the match.
The first was when Keinan Davies stood up to the big Arsenal lad after a tussel and then moved up face to face with him early in the game., That sent the message that weren't going to take a backward step and Arsenal weren't going to just turn up and dictate things.
The second was Johnson's run which led to Zincnagel s saved shot. That gave them the unpleasant news that we had some electric pace in the counter attack and were dangerous. This was reinforced with a couple of runs from Spence. They were jittery in defence from then on and gave away fouls, thoroughly discomforted. One such foul forced a good save from Garners free kick.
The third moment was the goal which was the knock out blow.
Absolutely brilliant performance.

Agreed Stokey. Another one for me was when Martinelli was one on one with Steve Cook and he blocked the shot.
He will be a massive signing for us. Some great performances out there but the most remarkable for me was Colback and the way he dealt with Saka all night.

We matched them all over the park. Arsenal were completely shell shocked. The pundits go on about how bad Arsenal were but that's only because Forest made them look that bad because we were that good off and on the ball.

Exactly Gazza, it was a foregone conclusion that Arsenal were going to teach us a lesson, this Forest side that is still not accepted as a big club. If, I say if we lose to Leicester what headlines would you think would be there. We probably won't win the cup, but we will make some headlines, and will be a club others think they should avoid. 😉.

Cooper worked out how our strengths could best Arsenal and the team showed us he was right.

Agree with all the above comments. Talking of pundits it was profoundly irritating how they kept saying Arsenal were missing a lot of players. I looked at the team that were very unlucky to lose to Man City last time out (presumably their strongest team) and 6 of that team started which became 7 after 35 mins when Tierny came on, then 8 after 70 mins when Lacazette came on.
The team we beat approximate value was about 160 million.
No mention mind you of our absentees, particularly as our best holding midfielder Colback obliged to play left back ( where he was like a bulldog that just wouldn’t let go of Sako an England international) .

My daughter went to the match with her mate, an Arsenal fan, and she was obliged to sit, very quietly, with the Arse fans. She said they were not very happy throughout with how their team were performing and the abuse when Grabban scored was along the lines of hope your kids die of cancer. Absolutely vile.

Wow stokey should be banned from any game for life,

Bowie, I just think there’s a small minority of people who are not wired up right mentally. My daughter was appalled and to be fair her friend and people round her were ashamed and embarrassed by the chants.

And i thought saka getting the , you let England down chants were bad.
