Just baffles me how a player like carvalho with so much talent (initially) can go so wrong, is it mental issues or something. Arter ok i'm not comparing him to carvalho. But all the years i played football, ok sunday football at a decent standard. But i just wanted to better myself every game. A player just doesn't give up. It's born within you to impress and get the fans behind you, or admiration. Another player i'm starting to feel for is horvath, ok he had a mare his last game, but do we just shut him out now, his distribution etc was excellent for me. Worse thing you can do is drop a keeper for so long imo, looks like smith will be away shortly, think his contract finishes this summer bless him. Came through the ranks but the lad was a tryer.

Bowie the problem with carvalaho is simply he does not have the pace or strength to match his ball skills. Neither does he have the mental strength or character to do his talent justice. He was on loan at a 2nd div Spanish outlet and relishing the challenge he failed to impress. Tells you all you need to know. He’s a sunshine player who couldn’t care less. The big money move to forest killed any ambition on his part and was one of many abstract failures recruited at that time. A dud that needs paying off. His value on the market is zilch and his place in the squad wasted.

Bowie, in my opinion he never looked great, I honestly feel it was us wanting / hoping him to be good.

Take that back 2star, did you not think he looked good when he first started playing for us? But i agree we all were just hoping he'd live up to his price tag.

Yes dream - that’s what I think .
Bowie, no - I was never convinced, I think imaginations just ran away and everyone felt we had a rich owner who was going to replicate the wolves adventure.
