Overall another frustrating night. Some stand out performances from Worrall, Spence and Garner but that's not enough, all 11 players need to be showing their best form more consistently. The same issues will not go away - our inability to break teams down because we pass the ball around at a snails pace so opposition can easily keep their structure, and our lack of attacking intent from set peices/ crosses in to the box. Some will say I'm focusing on the negatives and to that I say I can see the huge improvements in our game since Cooper came in, but there are deep lying issues with this squad that no matter the manager, we simply don't have all the right pieces to the puzzle to be able to take the game to the opposition when they're against the ropes. Recruitment in Jan and the summer are key, we have to get it right. Afterall, we won't have the likes of Spence and Garner for much longer.

Gazza, it feels to me your expectations are a bit high, the a realistic expectation was to compete in the 2nd tier again, we’re doing that and I feel expectations above that are probably unrealistic and might be for a while. Very simply we’re a lower mid second division team who need to build over a number of seasons, let’s just hope the club have learnt that lesson.

Spot on 2star. As I said the other day, Take out the loan players and print me a decent competitive 11 in this league. We haven't got one.
We could all print a side of deadwood plus subs and there lies the problem. It's going to take a couple of seasons to sort it out at least.
Very confident with Coops and Murphy in charge the lessons have been learned 🎈.

2star I didn't mention no expectations other than expecting more of the team to give a better account of themselves more consistently. Not too much to ask for.
