bereton would give us a different option upfront and a much needed option, as lyle Taylor doesn’t seem to offer us enough up front, yes lyles a top bloke with his heart in the right place but the service he got against Luton was poor to none existent.
Would be great for Taylor to prove us all wrong and start banging them in but needs better service to do that.

we couldn't afford him, any way since he put diaz or what ever the name is his heads doubled in size. forest don't need players like that, they want honest players.

Im not saying he didn't get much service, but how many times do we make excuses for Taylor. Maybe he didn't get service because he wasn't in the right places. Never rated him from day one. As you say damson does good work for charity. Full stop.

I agree with you mate, thought he’d turned the corner against Bristol city with his 2 goals but that doesn’t seem to be so…. could be down to a lot of factors and reasons why Taylor isn’t scoring many.
Can’t say many had a good game on Tuesday I was there and thought it was very mediocre performance although samba was class and I thought ojeda had a good debut.

Bowie he didn't look sharp at all. He's always a second behind everyone else. Too busy fighting with defenders. He shouldn't play again.

Totally agree gazza, jolly/ damson this is the point i bring forward on players, colback getting plaudits like best thing we never used/ reason we didn't is because he was sh#te. Taylor when he scored them 2 late goals. Loads on here (coopwr its a sign the new messiah) first i was blind now i can see. Well someone tell him to open his eyes now . Taylor that is. i pulled out ff79 for his. For me ott posts on games on the current situation. And will stick with it. Love is blind they say. Just my opinion. Were still a mediocre club. Which is a lot better than sh#te which we were.

When i say mediocre i mean the players obviously, fans are number (1) by a country mile. Its the loan players keeping us afloat.

If you could be bothered to read properly I never liked Taylor and have always said he's a league one player.
25k fans on a cold Tuesday night would disagree with you about how things are going.
They are right behind Cooper and are seeing a change with our attacking intent.
Problem we have is we only have one striker and one left back.
Injury or resting leaves us with no options.
There is a massive difference between what hughton dished up and what Cooper has, not just in points but in goals scored.

That's because we have been buying players like Taylor, Cafu, De Costa, silva, dragger, American goalie, iananou, bong, arter, Jenkinson and many others for some reason?
Then put them in the bomb squad or ship them out on loan.
The travesty is we sell the likes of matt cash to fund it and then have to bring in loans cus we blew the cash.
Hopefully now we have a working partnership with the manager and director of football?
The way out of this league for those not on parachute payments has to be with loab players, as ffp stops teams buying quality players permanently.

Reflecting back on my earlier post ff79, my first post mate. I remember reading so many and being scared to put my own views over. Now the genius bit is obviously taken the p#ss. I remember reading yourself as a man who was on a mission to show he was right and nothing else mattered . When hughton came along you had so many against ya, yet stuck with it. Proving us all wrong. hero you were to me sir and i. mean that. Stevie f with his politics etc another of mine. 2star with his words of wisdom always nurtured me in. Carlo with his old time one liners i loved. I could go on. You all mean so much to me my friend. More than you could ever know. I come on here for comfort not harshness. If that's the way i come over to you i apologise 👌 i may not stand in the rain mate. But as a geordie on your own it teams at times. No reds around me to talk my love apart from my 2 sons who probably just do it for love. Enjoy life, and never take them around ya for granted â¤.

I'm just seeing a different forest than you are and so are my mates and fans around me at the games.
I can't criticise us at the moment, we are playing to win for once, not trying to nick a goal and hang on.
I've stuck up for players like grabban for a reason last season as the alternative is Taylor who is simply not good enough to play championship football.

Me personally would never have put colback there and said so as he was a disaster there against sheff utd.

All I know is since Cooper took over I've actually enjoyed going to watch us, catch the train after walking from from the village and know the earliest one back leaves at 11.18 pm and then have to walk home 25 mins on a cold Tuesday night and although not the best of performance every player gave their best.
So I'm happy, we are going places and I understand the frustration of not beating a side like Luton, but with the sending off it has to be a plus we didn't lose.
