I don't think for one minute the corrupt people who were running the sheep considered there fan base when they were looking at ways to break every rule in the book. They are utter scum. Its always the fans who get hurt. I suppose it's the only way they can punish the club because if they give them a huge fine they wouldn't be able to pay as they have got no money. Then that would mean they went out of business. And the poor fans would be punished even more. I just hope our reds are being run more honestly.
I hate the sheep with a vengeance
But be careful what we wish for.
Because you never no what's round the corner.

East Coast, you would hope with Mr Randall as Chairman, a highly qualified QC we would be ok. I wonder if Derby even took legal advice before they embarked on their disastrous course. Of course Mad Mel could have over ruled his lawyers, never a wise course of action.

I remember reading on the website a couple of years ago, an interview with one of the backroom staff (sorry can't remember who) but they were on about the greek and how he highlighted he would never go over the fair play restrictions because of these such reasons. One thing i will say its unfair on the fans, but let's face it, the sheep would be celebrating if that were us. We all know owners are like politicians, they tell the public what they want to hear. Whether they do or not go with it, we learn after the damage. I remember and interview with alan sugar saying you'd have to be crazy to be an owner as he once was, as you can never keep the fans hapoy.

Sheep fans were laughing at us when we had the embargo, and celebrating when they agreed to pay Rooney the 100 grand a week, always remember them laughing at us, calling our club ‘ the joke that keeps giving “ well whose laughing now, ? they and their fans deserve all they get, should have been relegated last season, I feel sorry for Wycombe, they have been cheated by the con men at derby, they are the losers, not derby and their deluded fans,

Everything about clubs finances are ridiculous and it’s easy to point fingers but fans are also guilty of pushing boundaries expecting things that just are not possible. I’m sure the owners wanted the same as the fans ie promotion and everything that goes with it but due to wages, agents etc you need to gamble and ignore common sense and a sensible business model (fans can be as guilty of this as owners)

I can't see how fans can be guilty 2 tone.
Yes we would like success, but we don't ask the club to do it recklessly.
To give marinakis credit he could easily do dodgy deals with owning two clubs, but he hasn't, the recruitment has been paid for by selling players to keep within ffp.

Fans are always saying we should buy another player or why didn’t we sign so and so without knowing the finances involved. Most clubs are run based on complete chaos but what I’m trying to say is a lot of fans are asking or demanding exactly the same.

Stevie, that ll teach the likes of Wycombe to keep to the rules! Abs they say crime doesn’t pay. Genuinely feel sorry for the relegated clubs from last season and let’s not forget the “ordinary” people at Derby who will be made redundant if they go down as seems likely. The players will be fine, just carry on earning their millions at other clubs but spare a thought for the tea ladies, cleaners, ground staff etc who are suddenly without a job due to the greed of millionaire owners. It’s a microcosm of the world and society generally. 😞.
