One defeat and the gloom merchants are back!

We had a bad day at the office simple as, the first goal was a foul the second a defensive howler then a penalty and for the last Samba should have saved it

In between we missed 3 good chances and more than matched them in open play if you look at the stats

What I saw was a naive team of youngsters against a premier league side in waiting

Onwards and upwards Reds to Friday against a team we can beat

COYR.

Don't think there doom merchants munmad just because they say it as they see it defence terrible attack terrible hopefully a transfer window will sort that out and more experience for the younger players as they play.

They were the best team you will see at the City Ground this season. Some silly goals, but other than that we did well.

Munmad doom mongers. Flipping realists mate. I say it as I see it and that performance yesterday was just another Hughtonesque disaster only under Hughton we would not have conceded 4 goals particularly at home. What that sort of display does for confidence is damming and damaging. You always wanted 3 at the back, well you need good footballing defenders to do that and a mobile industrious midfield. You need an outlet up front not a greedy not interested grabban. We played in straight lines yesterday and that was an issue under Hughton. The basics of playing in triangles giving options was again missing. Not once did colback or Yates run past the man in possession to create space and support the man on the ball. Our turgid playing out from the back was again creating problems for ourselves and all that back passing and balls across the back four was inviting trouble. I hoped to see a midfield with ambition and guille, a midfield strong in the centre going at Fulham where it hurts. Nope it might be a one off a bad day at the office but I doubt it as this team have been performing like that for a long time.
Trust me I wanted to be positive as I thought we were unshackled under Cooper. If Cooper stands for this by picking the same personelle and formation then teams will do what Fulham did and do it without breaking sweat as Fulham did for us.

It's the same players and formation that has got us 16 points from the previous possible 18. We have been doing really well and still learning and settling in under the new manager.

To start picking on some of the players and formation after the last series of results is just typical of some of the fans on here.

Thats what we come on for ginger we all know best nice post rutters 👍.

25 Oct 2021 11:51:23
Ginger the teams we got points off was expected average teams like us the players haven't changed under messaih cooper proved that yesterday sooner grabbon his replaced the better as we know we need a good transfer window and I for one still don't rate samba can't understand why coopers not changed him.

Rutland hughton nor any other manager could have done anything about the individual mistakes or comic cuts defending which distorted the result, it’s a pointless comment to say we wouldn’t have conceded 4 at home under hughton, because no one knows, what I do know is under hughton, it was mind numbing to watch, and we couldn’t beat anyone, even the average teams skegs keeps going on about,

25 Oct 2021 12:59:51
Skeggs at least you and Bowie get it. I’m not whinging about one poor performance, that happens we understand that. It was the team selection and the players reverting to the turgid straight lines that Hughton got lambasted for. Taylor would have been buzzing from midweek and he did everything to justify a start yesterday. He must seriously be losing heart because in my book he had just won the shirt and if Cooper weakly sticks with grabban as captain and undroppable then nothing has changed. Samba parries shots straight to the on rushing strikers all too often and he rarely comes off his line to intercept crosses by punching or catching. His distribution borders on suicidal.someone on here said we created 3 good chances, really, I can’t remember any unless you count Johnson missing the ball and hitting his shin or grabban as usual floating a sitter into the Trent. Lolley banged one across the goal at the end but no one there for the rebound. Not bringing Taylor on was an insult to the lad, not starting him utterly criminal.

Rutland hughton was mainly getting lambasted because he couldn’t win a game,

25 Oct 2021 13:53:36
Rutland fans don't like you telling it as ot is but the same fans didn't mind there say under the old managers nobody's slagging Cooper off were saying we need new players that's what fans have been saying for months there was no way thus team was going to get any points against Fulham that simple.

25 Oct 2021 14:55:48
Skegs Rutland isn’t telling us ‘ as it is’ he is telling us his opinion of how it is, L.

25 Oct 2021 19:59:46
Rutland is talking rubbish as he admits not watching the previous games we won.
No games have been like hughtons as we cudnt score one goal never mind win a game.
