You can’t believe the difference Stiggy Coops has made.
The wing backs make us look more dynamic, the three central defender who do have a mistake in them look more comfortable, we no longer have holding midfielders because they get forward and play 10 yards higher up the pitch, colback and Yates who I said would never make it as a footballer have improved 80% all the forward players look like they want to start and are chomping at the bit. If and it’s a big if, but if we continue like this we could yet still have a crack at the play offs.

Was at the match yesterday. Didn't see Yates play a forward pass all game. I still have all the same reservations about him I'm afraid. Puts in the leg work but will never be a forward thinking midfielder.

I tell a lie, I think I remember one forward pass from him. I'm not slating the guy because what he did in the game, he did it very well. But when you hear SC talking about always looking to move the ball forward, I'm afraid Yates is never going to be that player.

Cooper wants his players to look forward and play the forward pass, just an observation that Yates isn't and will never be that player. Like I said, he's very good at what he does, but a forward thinking midfielder he is not.

H3 and colback played forward passes you just can't see it because you have it in your head he's crap.
Everyone around me was applauding him for his more forward thinking.
Did you not see a brilliant forward pass from him first half?
He looked one way and slipped the ball forward the opposite way.
Fans around me have now nicknamed him inevitable ðŸ˜
The way we are playing and the results we are getting is not the time to have a go at any player.

Yates has improved tremendously in the next few weeks
He actually played about 4 quality forward passes
Also 2 diving headed interceptions. Playing with his heart for a team he loves. Take your blinkers off and cut the young man some slack. Really hope he and other players don’t read some of the rubbish some people put on here.
He deserves some applause and respect for his efforts and honesty in a game lacking exactly that.

I've always liked Yates but most fans seem to need a punch bag when times are hard and Yates was the man. It's a shame that fans wanted to have a pop at probably the only player that gave 100% every game when things weren't going our way. And some are even too stubborn to change tact when things are much better - It's ok to say you were wrong y'know!

Steve S not many weeks ago the hole team were crap, you must have seen that even with a wonky eye mate and I along with thousands of other fans were calling for Yeates to be taken out of the team at that moment in time I believe we were right, since then the lads done great, also at that moment, if he and Colback were in the side together I’d have gone mad, but they are playing ok together, Grabbons another, at that time I wanted him out of the club altogether, but at this moment in time mate I would say, I WAS WRONG because he’s doing great, as is Mr Cooper he’s been a breath of fresh air for fans and players. U REDS ðŸ‘.
