The impression I get is that Cooper is yet again someone whos thinking is dominated by defensive football like Hughton. Well sorry for not falling in line with our CEO but I have had enough of so called mind numbing defensive football to last a lifeline, so I hope it does not happen. Plus a huge pay out to Swansea. Twenty or so managers in just ten years tells you how wrong Forest have got the recruitment so please get it right for once. It as never been more important than this call. Personally my choice would be Eddie Howe or Chris Wilder. Both have brought teams up from the lower leagues and reached the prem and they are not obsessed with defending, a huge reason why they have had that sucess. Go on Forest push the boat out and make it happen. U REDS.

When you guys dismiss Cooper as a potential good boss, the one thing you are all ignoring is his experience working with young players at a very high level.
"Cooper established his reputation in the Football Association’s system as the coach of the England side that won the under-17s’ World Cup in 2017. He finished sixth in his first season with Swansea, followed by fourth a year later, but left the club in the summer. "
If there is one thing Forest has in abundance, it is lots of talented youngsters. We also have a new CEO who has decided we are going to bring in young players to develop. We need a boss who fits this thinking. Steve Cooper looks like a decent coach with that aim in mind.

Forest do not need a Hughton clone.
Cooper is not the right fit for Forest.
Because he has worked as a coach for England with young player's does not make him the best fit.
Besides that a compensation payment will be needed.
Not for me Wilder is my choice.

If you read Wales online about Cooper and why he chose to leave Swansea . You will see the club sold 3 players including his top scorer Ayew . They scored 80 points in his second season . He left because they would not let him buy a striker . Odd don’t you think they tied him
Into a contract that immediately limits his ability to move because of compensation. I think that shows his strength of character and determination.

Red cyclist, I think really were just sick and tired of seeing our team camped in its own half from the kick off, leave Brazil to deal with the young players at the club, he seems more than competent, it’s a 1st team coach / manager we’re looking for,
