I think despite the probable correct views that hughton does not quite grasp the nettle in that scoring as many goals as you can helps to win matches. You have to respect, though, that the injury woes have blighted any hope of becoming more expansive. Losing worrall before a ball was kicked and mb soh after about 20 mins did not help. Tutu looked the part but is clearly a crock. Grabban missed out early on and Joe Lolley suddenly became ill, that one seems mysterious to me, i hope he is ok. I think another portugues attacker is injured too.
I really don't know what to make of it, going into this season so ill prepared has to be shared responsibility and not just burdened by the manager. Lots of players departed, in hindsight one or two should have been retained, particularly based on recent events.
Maybe hughton was promised replacements and simply let down. that's why they are not for sacking him just yet. Our new CEO has not delivered the hidden prized assets we hoped for and as we can see time is up for quality players. Any coming in will be desperation whobodies! If we were unattractive to players 3 weeks ago then God knows what type would want to come now. A few weeks ago i felt positive that it was by design that the club had a plan to rinse the squad, streamline and re-invent our great name. I am beginning to think the clusterf#ck is is till alive and kicking and vrentross move upstairs is still influencing negstively on the club. We are in big big trouble and there are too many fires for one man to put out.
Maybe this will be the worst experience in modern history for Forest and i think Div1 is beckoning but it could expose the shambles for what it is and it would be great if the likes of Frank Clarke got a consortium to buy out marinakis and co. Give Forest back to the fans and men who know and love the club.

Forest have known since the end of last season what positions are lacking yet the club as usual have done nothing and are now in a panic.
Useless owner useless manager.

Not the players to play to play expansive football because of injury, does that mean that both Norwich and Brighton always had a lot of players out with injury so could not play expansive football, if so that does not say a lot about his fitness regime does it.

M&c pragmatism is wasted on you. All you think about is hughton, never the possibility that he is working in difficult circumstances.

FawazMark2 i agree with you about the owner and the manager although i had high hopes when he first came.

I however think that the desperation around trying to get players in is that the new CEO came to the club so late and it will be either Jan if we bring anyone in or next summer when we will see what he really is made of.

Worrall ain't injured Rutters it's all lies but they ain't got the guts to be honest . Watch the miraculous recovery when the window closes.
Tuti fruity is just another Jenkinson Arsenal crock. Lolley is finished been sussed out with the cut inside chestnut Grabban don't give a toss cause he ain't a one up top forward so never gets the required service.
Great to see a Frank Clark consortium? Clark could get a game at the mo with this shambles 🎈.

Rutland i'm all for pragmatism.

I'm pragmatic enough to know other managers at Forest have faced similar circumstances as Hughton and all of them have better than him.

I with that in mind am pragmatic enough to know Hughton is not working out at Forest and needs to go.

Lol baloons. We may meet up soon as i will be in yours and skegs neck of the woods if my move comes off.
M&c i do understand what your point is. However the football under Lamouchi was just the same turgid and defensive. MON was struggling with flair too. The collapse under SL was partly his style and lack of quality. If you read my post I try to cover all the negatives and realisms. If we are re-positioning ourselves then this is the pain we must go through. However I do think issues run deeper and the club do keep the fans well in the dark which causes distrust.

Rutland take your head out of Hughton's behind.
No offense but your quest about Hughton and how what a poor hand he's been dealt with is uninspiring.
Face facts Hughton's time will soon be over and Forest will be fighting relegation.
Marinakis doesn't give a hoot about Forest.
Olympicos is his love.

Mind as did I but we all know his love does not lie within Forest but his beloved other team.
Unfortunately a relegation fight is on.
