So back to basics the team that CH put out was his A team, Samba back in goal after Jordan Smith pulled of some great saves in the previous matches, Samba was slow to react for both goals and both goals coming down our left hand side where Bong is defending and the guy for the first just strolled by Colback and another game where Grabban hasn't scored or had a shot on target, CH has had all summer to develop a side but the players I've mentioned will form the nucleus of the team for the coming season which looks like its going to be a long one.

The American goalkeeper has had his visa sorted out, Hughton will get 3,maybe 4 new players all of which will spend most of the season as first choice players.
Mighten and Johnson are looking good, they are only friendlies, 2 more to go, fitness comes first, without the new players it is hard to know anything.

I think the three or four players that will hopefully be coming in will be a LB a CM and a striker the fourth is open to debate.
Buchanan, Fleming, Nesbit or kulenovic would be good signings IMO and keep what we have accept the ones houghton has told are free to leave.

Bong was very poor, with regard to the goals scored by Crewe. He does not close down enough, and he is slow. Brice should have done better with the second goal. It was a crossshot and his positioning was poor. I have said all along that Brice is not good enough. Hopefully the new keeper will come up to scratch.

Be nice to hear what the new CEO thinks of two more than adequate LB,s being allowed to leave us with nothing in that position?

Hughton has no control over when players are signed, he will have asked for players to be signed but that’s the end of it for him. It’s completely unreasonable to blame him for no players coming in as yet. In modern football the manager does not sign players or have any control over the speed of the process . Whatever you think of hughton as a manager is one thing but stop judging him for things that aren’t his job, if you were a joiner would you accept getting a rollicking because the plumbing leaks?

It is not the CEO that needs to be asked that question it is the owner, he has to agree to important decisions.

Good for you that it is his opinion you want, his opinion though means nothing, if he is honest he will upset his new employer, if he takes the company line you will be unhappy.
The loannu decision was made long before the new CEO arrived, even though Hughton will have some say ultimately the owner has the final say.

Damsonred I've only seen Buchanan a couple of times, the last time I saw him he was taken to school all night, absolutely embarrassed by Anthony knockeart, and people on here keep telling me he’s crap, so not exactly a good recommendation,

Knockheart is just not a team player stevie along with Taylor, now and then they do something out the ordinary, but aren't players you can rely on to produce every game or even 50%.
Knockheart was awful for the most part and as for Bucanan deal won't go through as Derby don't like doing business with us.
