Is it just me? I see the lack of transfer activity as a very good thing. It means that no one behind the scenes is causing chaos by signing deadbeats as in years gone by. The lads coming in to the u23 indicate a long term plan. None of the lads loaned out have been sold and worral is still a forest player.
We might be starting pre season and indeed the season with similar set up to last but the window will be open for a while. Its obvious forest are getting things behind the scene right before making drastic decisions ref the playing staff. I hsve said it many times, this clear out and restrucure is going to take time ad its imperative the club and us fans show patience. The marque signings will happen in time. Once the pre season is underway and clubs finally decide their squads will loan players and certain plsyers be made available. This stealth approach is new to us and we should welcome it. Unlike many on here I have complete trust in Hughton to do this job and for once am pleased mr marikinakis is showing a level of stability and trust in his ppl.
We will get there but the slagging of Hughton on here by some is down right disgusting.

We need to bolster the squad with some decent Championship quality players or else we will have another season of struggle with perhaps worse consequences. I have so far seen no evidence that we will be mounting any sort of challenge higher up the table than last year. Signing young goalkeepers for the youth and U23 sides is good forward planning, but first team players for this season must be the priority.

If you want to look forward to another season of boring 4-2-3-1 football with a 34yr old striker isolated up front with including the keeper 7 denfensive players good for you!
Personally I don’t Hughton out now when the crowds are back at the City Ground you will see how many people share your view. Not many imo.

Ii wasn't slagging anyone off rutters, all i ask is some kind of announcement at least. To say look this is the approach we are taking. Even you have to admit its all guesswork. The fans were left really down last season with the shower of sh#te we had, now i'm giving hughton the chance mate. But i'm given no chance to defencive sh#te style of play from last season. Its entertainment we want. And if attacking football means it takes longer so be it. the club need to reach out to the fans and give them some idea.

Chaps read my post and tell me we can do better by chucking out hughton and returning to chaos? Lose hughton now and we will find no other up coming manager who would trust in us to give him long term employment to fulfill his ambitions.

Reid and Cohen are two rookies more likely to take us down than up! Didn't Luton re hire the ex manager who had success previously with them, nothing to do with Cohen.

Thing is Munmad, you and a few others come on here multiple times a day to moan about the same thing and constantly slag the same person, take a day off fella, it got past boring weeks ago:)

Yes mate more than well get next season with Dino in charge and Murdoch Cohen was 1st team coach at Luton so yeah dead right nothing to do with him 😂😂😂.

Listen munmad. We stuck by cohen when he was the biggest sicknote at the club. Great player great character but we give him life after life. We gave him a careeer after football and he left at the first opportunity. Short memories.

RIL how can we challenge without a sound platform. Do you want the chaos to continue? We hsve to mske ourself attractive for good plsyers to come here. With the mass signings and discarding of players no one will want to come unless we show due care and dilligence. Cast offs and older players in search of one last payday is our recent history.
