I see from recent posts that CH is really dividing opinion on the forum. Do we give him a chance? Has he already had enough of a chance? I know for one thing- the football served up last season was some of the worst I’ve ever seen in nearly 50 years following the reds. No one would be more pleased to see him succeed than me, but in all reality I don’t think he is up to it.

Redfrog mate i can only give you my opinion mate, i totally agree with you on the style of football he brings. I absolutely detest it. but what can we do? So personally i'm going along with. A= he admitted the style of football needed a big change. B= hopefully he has still got influence on bringing players in by this i mean garner C= the greek has really got behind him. D= just give the bloke a chance to start the season. I know a lot will disagree with the last saying don't let him waste the money. But surely reds. We can't keep bringing managers in. I spose i live in hope.

On this site Mr Southgate was some relation of Mr Houghton - allegedly ie their style of setting a side up was similar. When I saw the line up for last nights game I had that Forest feeling which has become too familiar …. However it worked for Southgate so maybe we give CH a chance.
