So according to some of our resident Houghton bashers, the team picked by Southgate tonight was negative, boring with boring tactics just like Houghtons teams.
But hey England won 2-0 . don't conceed goals and are now in quarter final and favourites to go all the way.

You seem to forget that the England Team and Forest are literally leaugues apart.
It is like comparing a Lada to a Bentley.
Also facts don't lie. re hughton's record at Forest is not exactly encouraging is it?
Hughton is the epitome of boring and about as tactically astute as Captain Mannering.

Trentender, this site is about everyone being a football manager mate. Each to there own. Iv'e laid off hughton, reason he's done nothing to me until the next ball is kicked. It's so easy to say you were right after the 90 minutes is over. like life we have our own defensive mechanism as well as attacking. If moller had scored who knows what the outcome would have been. One thing i will say is enjoy this day, and don't let them around ya get you down. Because tomorrow like the next game can bring on a whole different perspective. Just saying. Love them around ya. And you are comparing the negative tactics of England that get results to the negative tactics of Forest that don’t? Interesting 🤔.

Opinions are divided but you can't change the way Dino Chris set's out his game plans.
His plan a is the same as b and c which equates to draws.
He has cemented and drilled his teams to be afraid of entering the unknown territory known as the Final third. Where stories of the opposition's goal will bring those who dare put the ball into the net will suffer a slow terrible fate.

Well that's interesting.
You say everyone is entitled to an opinion but then Mr Perko pops up and says I don't have a point.
When Sabri was manager we won many a game by 1-0 and scraped through games to a 7th finish. The resident moaners that are vilifying Houghton now were doing the same to Sabri and he was winning games.
Anyway I will continue to post my perspective regardless.

As for opinions we are all entitled to post what we believe in be it good or bad.

Quite write trentender Houghton is Forest manager for the moment, he’s not had ahis chance as yet to build his team as yet, I’ll back him all the way until he actually fails. None of us really know what his tactics will be next season, we are all guessing, we’re probably guessing right, but in my opinion he deserves a chance, most on her are judging him on a team with no attacking ideas and no creativity in midfield, also on a few loan signings made when nobody wanted to come to Forest .
