Well that's Ruffels and Jephcott off the shopping list, if they were on it in the first place. Not much happening yet on the transfer front.

Interesting to see Ruffels said he went to the Terriers because they play good attacking football. Players won't be coming to Forest for that reason. What has become of this club. That used to be the reason players wanted to come here - to learn how to play great football, "on the grass".
Left back is starting to look like a problem. If we can't bring in anyone really good, we might as well play Ionnou in games where we want to stretch the other team. At least he can cross the ball.
I can see a loan player coming in at left back as it doesn't look that clear who is available without a large fee.

Thanks Bowie. I know you feel the same. The club of the likes of Clough, Martin O'Neil, Archie Gemmill, John Robertson and Stan Collymore and we play like Wimbledon on a good day! Pathetic.
Not a bad call Skegby, especially away from home. Not sure whether he has the pace for stretching the opposition at home though.

I actually couldn't agree more RC mate. i just think as you said who as a decent player wants to play this type of football. As for us playing like Wimbledon, at least they got stuck in. Skegby colback as left back mate, dangerous passing to the keeper none stop 😉 especially samba on his line,

Really not upset at Ruffles. Saw him in 2 play off games and not impressed. Whatever his attacking stats he defended very poorly in both games. Only time will tell whether we've missed out.

Seriously, he wasn't exactly a Stella signing. Number 3 at Forest should be a big deal as you are stepping into Psycho's shoes!

Can't see anyone stepping into psychos shoes in my lifetime now RC, reason, rules, laziness, money, Var. Probably a whole lot more . Its a bit like looking for another elvis on xfactor. Just my opinion 😪.
