So another quiet day. And nothing to chat about. Apart from a new also ran shirt. let's face it reds we took around 15 million for cash last season to plump into more debt looking at our situation. Were in a total mess. Manager/players/backroom staff the list goes on. don't get me wrong i know there's plenty of time yet. But ask yourselves seriously. How many on here have real confidence with the manager and players we know were stuck with. As for formations changing a leopard never changes its spots. Feels like the dark nights are moving in already. i'm really truthfully not looking forward to next season. Just being honest sorry.

Bowie, you are a top man always trying to get a debate going, well doneðŸ‘. As for looking forward to the new season, I said the other week every summer I go into forest refresh mode. I'm now on my hols drinking ice cold ones in the sun, when we make new signings in the coming weeks the optimism will grow and by August 7th I'll be ready. I've always been the same, can't see it ever changing.

MV REd me too, always optimistic, even when staring down the barrel of a gun. I support Forest and love the roller coaster that is football. i'm 60 and seen it all from despair to glory. If it was predictable and constant glory I think I would get bored with it. When Forest were in their glory days I used to wonder what made supporters in 4th division turn up week in week out to watch their teams, no chance of silver ware, crap grounds and tiny attendances. I was full of admiration. Yes we have slipped down a bit but hey being a fan you have to take the bad times on the chin and hope for better times .

Thanks mvred, are you still in the country mate? Enjoy the holiday son. i'm jealous tbh ,and yeah i do try and stir a few up stating the obvious 😉 its not just who were bringing in for me. More importantly is whos going out. I always get it wrong but as they say at tescos every little helps ding ding. Including the manager. (Wishful thinking) we need big changes. i'm no grim reaper just an average fan watching a club in freefall. But loves the club.Anyway enjoy the hols ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Thanks Bowie, yes mate I'm still in this country, got lucky with the weather not a cloud in the sky. Remember last pre season we were all pleased with signing Arter, Taylor and so on, just proving you never know how a new lad is going to perform. I don't mind somebody coming in under the radar, somebody maybe we've never heard of. Another Roy Keane would be just fine.

Mvred that takes us back to coaching/formations etc. Whos to say they aren't bad (apart from me 😂) are you happy with hughton let me rephrase that, do you think hughton can carry us forward next season mate ?

I think we have to give Houghton a season. If improvement happens then great. What is considered improvement though? Play offs- definitely, top ten- slight improvement, would we all be happy with that. Remember, Lamouchi played a defensive style of football but because we were up there we went along with it. It's when results don't go our way the football especially looks negative. Fine margins as Warbo used to say.
