Reading down here it's difficult to believe this is a forest fans site, our own club slagged off constantly, and our locals rivals praised to the hilt, it's not really for me,

Sorry if you feel upset Steve but I stand by my earlier post. Our stadium is tired, our owner has another club who is his first love, our recruitment policy is a shambles, some of our players are woeful and our managers brand of football is boring and negative. But most of our fans are great. Obviously these are only my opinions.
But in all honesty I’m hardly lying am I?

Stevief if you read my posts you will clearly see where i stand.
As for the grounds. The city ground is iconic and looks superb when walking over trent bridge on matchday. As i come in from the bridgford/ mainstand way I often take a walk over the bridge just to take in the view. As for atmosphere the city ground can be colossal, the walkers stadium is dull. Our ground is not that tired just the mainstand but hopefully that will be taken care of.
I would never use leicester as a blue print for success, yes they are doing well and seem to be run very well now. But the contempt they showed for the local businesess and authorities will never be forgotten. Why haven't the wealthy new owners ever adressed this, yeah a pie and a pint was gracious but i know of contractors who went to the wall owed over £100k by the old regime. Yeah they found a loop hole but they are morally bankrupt.

Red frog it’s difficult to argue with what you’re saying, at the moment, , but the Leicester way was a cheating way I wouldn’t wish our club to go down that route, I respect your opinion, but this is our club, we need to get behind it, not constantly run it down, Leicester city has been nothing for most of its existence, our time will come again, RUTLAND I read your posts with interest, don’t always agree, but they are well put together, and I think you and I agree on Leicester city F. C. (financial cheats), far from congratulating Leicester, I couldn’t stomach watching the celebrations, and I thought the majority of forest fans would feel the same, perhaps I worked in Leicester and Loughborough too long, and know how forest are despised there,

I can honestly say that how English football is now we will never be a big club again.
L C have broken the mould but no one else will do it in these Money dominated football times .
Realistically the best we can hope for is to get to Southampton,s level but with the present set up even that is a long long way off.
