Ryan Bertrand up for grabs at the end of Southampton's season, still a good full back and was good when he was on loan with us albeit being a few years ago now. Could be another old croc?

A good player to be fair, but I agree we have had too many players come to the city ground for a big payout and not perform. Would depend on his character, does he want to carry on playing and take on the challenge of pushing forest forward or just a nice payout?

I’d take him, good player with bags of experience.
But he’d have to be hungry to want to perform and play week in week out. If he was a few years younger then absolutely I’d want us to sign him.
Realistically we’ll sign 8 players we’ve never heard of and get a couple of premier league players in on loan. It’ll be the same old Forest.
But we need to change if we want to improved the squad and move up the table.
RB - Christie
LB - Larouci (out of contract Liverpool player)
CM x 2 - Garner loan again +, anybody (can’t be worse than colback, Arter, Cafu. )
Versatile forward player - Adam Reach (both wings and CAM)
Winger - Jacob Murphy
Striker - Johnson Clarke Harris maybe another striker as well depending on our goings.

He’s impressed me most times I’ve seen him play. Looks to be nice and versatile too, having a couple of players like that really helps over the course of the season.
I created another post about free agents and I was shocked that Reach’s name came up as out of contract.
For me we should be going for him!
But we’re Nottingham Forest so we’ll end up with some Greek lad Reachanikos or something like that.
