Richard Keogh has secured a payout of about £2.3m from Derby after winning his long-running compensation claim against them. The 34-year-old defender, who finished the season at Huddersfield, brought an action for breach of contract in the wake of his sacking by Derby in October 2019.

I think they'll escape a points deduction and get some kind of suspended penalty, along with a fine. The EFL haven't got the guts to punish them properly.

They will get the points deduction but next season.
Only hope is that they have pissed the efl off so much with their lies that they grow some and relegate them now instead of wycombe.
If they don't then expect court cases by wycombe and Sheffield Wednesday.
Derby have bent the rules for far too long and the treatment of Keogh who was a stalwart for them was disgraceful and they deserve their punishment for that too.
