Ff79 we want the same thing. And you are right we play too deep, we always have right from calderwood. However to push up you need pace in your centrehalves and trust in your wide men. Riberio and christie can be cavalier and worall and mckenna are vulnerable to pace and balls over the top. Its a needs must. But hughton knows this and he also realises samba has aweakness to crosses and is caught in no mans land too often. I am no fool but neither is Chris, my namesake, he is in the best position to make the decisions now for the best interest of this club. Peace man😄.

We all want the same thing Chris Rutland, it’s getting where we want to be that is the ongoing problem.

Youve obviously convinced yourself he's the right man mate but sorry you won't convince me.
Hes had nearly a whole season and the last few games with no pressure yet same players and same system.
I can't accept he will put things right at all.

With you with that 79, that leopard ain’t never going to change it’s spots, I’m all for stability but this geezer will stabilise us in the bottom half of the table.

You didn't listen to my reply 79. You said we play too deep. I gave you the answer. You need quicker footballing centre halves to move up the pitch. We have neither.

T Rex Hughton needs to go.
Hopefully his visit with the Fat Greek will convince Fatinakis to shoe horn away from forest.

11 May 2021 14:25:14
It isn't the centre halves. We need quicker attackers, especially wingers.

Im with Rutland re the manager. I believe he has the knowledge of English football and the type of player required to improve us. The negative way we played was partly down to tactics but more the fact that we have too many players that have no pace and aren't comfortable on the ball.
The defence are only comfortable passing the ball along the back line, as soon as they are closed down theu hoof it up field to Graban who can't control it or hold it up, never wins a header to knock the ball on. The wide players don't hug the line and don't make themselves available to receive ball or run in to space. Therefore when midfielders have the ball they have very few options to lay the ball off forward. So to keep possession the ball goes sideways or when they are closed down, backwards and ends up with goalie hoofing ball up field again and the same cycle.
Midfielders thrive on players running off the ball for them to give them options. No option means a back pass or get tackled and thethen fans have a go at them for being crap.
Chris has tried various combinations of wide men, front men and midfielders so can't see why he gets criticised for not changing players but to be brutally honest they all struggled.
Chris has already got rid of a few during this season, sounds like quite a few others will also be going. The defence seems fine even if Worral goes but its the centre of the pitch that needs a couple of players and a couple of strikers/ wide men will totally transform this side.

Rc agreed. But we lack pace everywhere. Christie had a burst on him and as he is in his last year at fulham might be available on a free and reduced wages.

11 May 2021 15:37:48
Fatinakis fawaz 😂😂.

11 May 2021 16:05:17
I can't hear your reply only see it😁
What your saying is worrall and McKenna are too slow and not good enough and most the squad isn't good enough or technically gifted enough.
I dissagree with you i just think that hughton isn't technically gifted enough to manage us.

11 May 2021 17:30:26
Glad you liked Bowie. 👍🤪😁.

11 May 2021 18:57:08
79 you just want blame hughton. Mckenna and worral are sadly lacing in pace and worrall not a great passer or mkver with the ball. Worral is 6'4 and just not commanding in the air. Figs is the best of the bunch. Gets hurt for the cause.

11 May 2021 19:02:17
Bang on it trentender.

11 May 2021 21:03:15
Trentender Hughton has got all his teams to play the same way, therefore he is forcing his ideology on players that do not suit it.

11 May 2021 21:54:29
So when both worrall and Mckenna are sold for big bucks you'll be happy?
And mighten will go for big money too, but it isn't hughton fault he can't get a tune out of em.
He trains and tells them to play that way.
Im not bothered anyway as i know he will fail and be gone by xmas which dissapionts me as its another wasted season.
Time to act is now as we had a better manager with more on his success cv in martin and he had to save us with only 19 games left which he did and had a far superior win rate than hughton.
Hughton out asap.
