Moneytree are you for real
Hughton took over an SL team that was rock bottom of the table mot scored in about 10 games, brought in 14 shite players and hughton took us from top 7 to bottom. It was SL that destroyed us with his worse thsn hughtons football. SL is where he belongs in nothing nowhere football.
I understand people wanting a better style of football but you need good footballers to acheive that. Its as simple as that. These players are not held back by hughton but by their own failings. Cast offs from clever clubs, fat, no pace anywhere in the team and seemingly a lack of commitment. Its not ALL Hughtons fault.

Spot on rutland red 7 man. peace.

Rock bottom after 5 games someone with Hughton's record that should not be a problem, Bowyer has turned Birmingham around in 6 games Hughton has had 38 games to turn things around. 14 players came in but only 2 players from those that got 7th went out Hughton has not used many of his squad, and how many of the players that got us in 7th has Hughton used. 🤔.

Indeed damson. Its easy to forget where we were 5 games into the season. No fans, no goals, no points, out of the cup, a hangover from hell as the capitulation of last season spilled agonisingly into this. We were and might be still, relegation fodder. We can't have it both ways. And anyone that thinks we will be promotion candidates next season, with or without hughton can dream on. Our lack of goals stems from the whole 10 players. Creativity is turgidly bereft, as most of our goal efforts are speculative bananas from 30 yards. Hughton knows this squad so much better now and his endeavors to revitalise and rejuvinate will be interesting and a portal into the vision of both him snd the club the minute our status is confirmed. We should stop this witch hunt now and give hughton the respect he deserves and the opportunity to turn this club around. Its not a quick fix, that's why we are where we are.

Are you actually defending Hughton? Oh my God!

22 Apr 2021 13:27:15
Rutland r7 as you put it to Money are you for real.?

Yes the club did wrong by bringing in fourteen new players but on paper Freeman, Christie, Blackett, Arter Colback are excellent championship quality players, add to that Krovinovic, Knockeart, Murray, on paper they are good quality championship players, then off course Taylor goals to games was very good at Charlton.

Not many managers lacking just two players from a team that finished 7th would rip it apart, Hughton has.

22 Apr 2021 13:43:44
Getforward money said hughton took a top 7 side. He did not they were bottom of the league. As for the players you mention all discarded, not wanted by their clubs. But good enough for forest. Krovinivic has been ok for us but very little end product as has christie. Colback the biggest joke. Csnt even force himsel bsck into the team.

22 Apr 2021 14:00:19
They were a top 7 side. They finished the previous season after 46 games in the top 7. Delusional?

22 Apr 2021 14:04:50
Rutland not the fourteen that came in but all but two players were part of the team that finished seventh, so the manager did take over a top seven side. Five games played were only a tiny part of the start of the term.

What has happened to the players i mentioned is all in hindsight, on paper they were good acquisitions.

How much their form is down to the manager one can only guess.

I’m backing up rutland red 7 on this one stick to your guns mate your right we can’t keep changing mangers every time things don’t go our way so I say we should stick with Chris Houghton we won’t get anyone as good as Chris Houghton a class manager dose not become a bad manager over night.

22 Apr 2021 14:53:39
Any manager can get you to 18th if that is what you are happy with.

22 Apr 2021 15:38:12
Have to agree that Jurassic chris is partly to blame along with the players.
Negative tactics and his old favourites playing most of the time have failed.
Personally i don't like the continuous trail of managers but chris hasn't done enough to warrant a second season here.
He like most the sqaud need shuffling out.
A positive forward thinking manager who can adapt to any situation in a game is what Forest need.
One who will let young talent into the squad and who is not afraid to to push forward for a solid win.
Sorry Chris your time is up!

To most who think we were a good team under SL you are in dream land. We were lucky in getting turgid 1 0 victories away from home but simply dreadful at home. When luck ran out and the bubble burst we were exposed for what we were. The freefall continued this season so an incoming manager was picking up a snakes belly where we all wondered where our first goal let alone victory was coming from. And btw when bowyer took over birmingham they were not and never were in the bottom 3. Its a cheap shot to point the finger at hughton as we all know he wants us to take our chances the problem is we can't and thsts not down to hughton but incapable players.

22 Apr 2021 16:37:48
No one is saying we were a good team under Lamouchi, just good enough to get into 7th in the Championship which Hughton ripped apart. Birmingham were in free fall until Bowyer took them over, just imagine what he could do with another 32 games which would equal the amount of games Hughton has had now. He says he wants us to take our chances but his style means very few chances are created.

22 Apr 2021 16:56:25
Norwich are a good team, so are Brentford, Forest were good enough to be seventh, how many of those sill at the club play on a regular basis.?

When a team finishes seventh you might change the three weakest players

The manager brought in four if his own players plus played some of the fourteen brought in also.

Rutland I'm afraid it's Hughton's job as Coach manager to be held responsible for the position of Forest.
He picks the team and gives them instructions how to play.
Yes players are equally responsible but the blame is on Hughton.
I wouldn't give him another go along with 7 or 8 of the 1st team players.
Hughton is too nice and has the vocals of a Trapess monk.
