Ive read all of your posts on here throughout the season and you lads have come up with every excuse you could think of as too why Forest are so poor, you've blamed everyone at the club, owner, chairman, DOF, manager, as manager, training, tactics, selection, favourites, to name but a few. So ok come the end of the season and we stay up, I read a lot of you want C H out, and most of the senior players out as well, ok, so we keep McKenna and Worrall and according to some, perhaps Taylor up front. Three players from the first team squad with experience, then you want to fill the other places with young lads with very little or no experience including a younger goalie. Do you really think this is the way to go, relying on young kids, even if we got Garner back on loan it would still be a big ask for the kids to get us through the full season and playing the brand of football that most of you want us to play. I think it's impossible, I think we would end up in the same situation as we are today, I don't know what the answer is, maybe you lot with all your ideas can come up with something, I just se us in the proverbial shi#.

What are we supposed to say it's truth the league table doesn't lie. The owner as cocked it right up, so has the DOF, the chairman (when he decides to appear) and the manager. The tactics are crap and mono . The team selection are decidedly questionable at best. The tactics are park the bus and sod having a ho at it. Yes we want the manager out cause we want entertainment. Regards the players get rid of all of them except Worrell, Mighton in the first team squad. Forget loans we want Forest players playing for forest.
What ever we do with the academy players it can't be any worse than this season or even the past 22 years 🎈.

If the club kept it's best experienced players played some academy players, and brought in some youngish players then at least we could see the club has a plan and building for the future, if the club got those players trying to play entertaining football we would know they care that their fans deserve entertainment. Will happen though.

Clough built his team around the keeper and striker. i'm personally happy with samba. Striker hmmm hard one. We need a captain in midfield that can help the youngsters and bring the team as one. with experience. Watson brought that. but most of all we need a manager that can move with the times. YES we need older experienced players. No we don't need negative football.

Dream if the club do what some of us want the team will be in the same position as they are now, not true because the team would be without a ageing squad, and with players that want to give their all, and should only get better.

Everyone keeps banging on about entertaining football the only time in the last 10 years we had entertaining football and that was under Billy Davies but would you all have him back 😅😅 what we need is a manager that can build a team and not in 3 months lol we also need a owner that will 100 percent back the manager is that going to happen no so we are what we are a poor average championship team.

Bad Billy is not the only manager out there that tries to give fans entertaining football, you are right that the owner needs to back the managers they bring in, you are right entertaining football can not be achieved in 3 months. Entertaining football does need someone willing to try and implement it, and it is fair to say that you should expect to see improvement in stages. Progress in stages has not happened be seen yet. We have gone from seeing the forwards getting minimal chances and getting a high percentage of them to the forwards getting minimal chances and looking as if they can not see the net.

Marinakis has been at the helm approximately 4 years.
Each year follows a pattern.
A new manager, players etc.
He is over reliant on aides who have no clue about English Football or the Championship yet he retains their services?
Forest have had manager's with experience and promotion yet we remain where we are and the table doesn't lie.
So dream most posters on here hit the agree with what is blatantly obvious.!

Mull I have no problem with bringing some young lads in, none at all, what I was trying to get at was bringing in all the youngsters that someone posted just can’t work, that would more than likely mean a fight against religion, bringing some new faces especially other young unproven players in is a gamble and an expensive one. And a lot on the site, of witch I've been one want marinakis out yet still expect him to provide big bucks, . getting rid of CH would cost as well, also trying to get Garner back won’t come cheap . that’s why I can’t see major change happening at the end of the season, do to the cost . Surely a slow change over the nexts two seasons is the better way, even if that means keeping the likes of samba, ribero, Cafu figs smith etc.

I don't think you can call Marankis for his financial backing, he's always let managers bring new players in. He delegates his background team to do their jobs, which the head of recruitment certainly hasn't!

He has not let managers bring in new players, he has been annoyed at the failure to get what he wanted, he then gave the managers players most often by mass, not by what is needed. I would say a maximum of 20% of the players brought in have been the managers choice. How many of the players have not been on a free, loan, from Oylmpicas, or on the cheap, not many i would say, so the owner has not really backed managers.

Never said the players brought in are the managers choice, they have been brought in by the people marankis employs as recruitment. He still stumps up the money for fees, wages and agents. Am sure he didn't say, right I'm going to swamp the squad with another dozen players pre season, he just backed someone else's recommendations. Personally I wish he hadn't sanctioned them.
