So the international break is now upon us. A better performance yesterday so let's try not to dwell on the fact that we are now only seven points from the drop zone. A tough game when we return against Cardiff who are mounting a promotion push and usually manage to knock us about. Then the final run in where there are some winnable games. Two or three wins from those should just about do it and we can then consign this season to the dustbin of history along with so many other poor seasons in the past twenty years!

Agree2 Disagree0

The season is now over as i doubt Forest will go down, the rest of the term is all about showing some pride.

I will not feel safe until it’s mathematically impossible. Last season taught us that Forest can produce the unthinkable.

21 Mar 2021 13:32:32
We are nowhere safe and very much in the relegation mix.
Rotherham have 4 games in hand and although Birmingham have a tough run in 4 points behind us is nothing. Nicking the odd draw won’t be enough and as RIL says 2 or 3 wins will be needed. Fully expecting a nervous final few games.

Me neither u only after look at us going for play off spot last season.

Why so negative Skegsjay 🤣

You can not guarantee anything as you have said but Forest should be able to get over the line reasonably comfortably.

21 Mar 2021 16:01:42
Get forward we should have made the play offs reasonably comfortable. Its the championship anything can happen mate.

Bowiered i agree about the play offs but i blame the manager at the time for that.

He took some teams for granted in that he could field a weakened side and still get either a draw or a win.

He also changed what for the most part was working, like the present manager the football was rubbish but it for him was working.

The manager though decided to put even more defensive players in the team and made changes when they were not needed.

That for myself is why Forest did not stay in the play offs last term.

If the owner had of backed him in January we would of made play offs with ease managers fault lol one born every minute.

21 Mar 2021 18:11:41
Yes the owner could have backed the manager in January but when a manager changes what had been working for him and plays weakened teams against so called poorer teams when it was not necessary then there is only ever going to be one outcome and that is disaster.

Man U tried it today ,fielding a weaker team, result ,out of the cup, can,t see their board liking that !

I’m really not sure where you’ve seen me say grabban is worth his place , only you can answer why you’ve interpreted it that way, I’m really not sure . I seem to remember highlighting both have been dreadfully poor , which they have and that grabban is aloof whether he’s playing well or not so best not to conclude he’s playing poorly before he can’t be bothered - he very rarely looks bothered .

You seem to have misinterpreted what i have been saying.

You said both Grabban and Taylor have had poor terms to which i basically said Taylor has not.

You then said games played to goals scored are what strikers are judged on and gave me the stats for Taylor.

I then basically asked you for Taylor's minutes to goals, and Grabban's minutes to goals which you did not provide.

You instead picked holes in Taylor's game and said you would get rid of him, but you did not say you would get rid of Grabban.

I was trying to point out, how can you say Taylor has had a poor term when he has hardly been played when strikers work off confidence, which you dismissed.

When you picked holes in Taylor's game it shows Grabban up.

Imagine how many Taylor could have scored had he had been given the same amount of minutes as Grabban has.

With Taylor's goals to minutes this term that would translate into a decent haul.

I wad also trying to point out even if Grabban always looks aloof regardless of form it does not mean he has not lost interest.

Grabban's lack of goals for minutes played for myself proves a clear lack of interest.

Taylor has played as often as Grabban, they’ve both done nothing.
