Brilliant comments on black lives matter from Lyle Taylor on radio Nottingham , everyone on here should read his comments also published on Nottinghamshire live, such a level headed sensible guy, makes you proud that he's at our club.

Skegby i posted as he was speaking yesterday. Great guy.
I think lyle has waite a long time to maje that statement. Now he is top scorer so should start every gsme. Do you think their is a divide in the dressing room over how lyle feels?

can't agree more! Black lives matter is a political mouthpiece. I have been amongst West Indians and Indians since the early 60's and used to go out drinking on a Friday night with some. The west Indians didn't mind being described as black the Indians preferred to be called Brown than Black. Taylor is right there are too many people jumping in saying certain words shouldn't be used. If they can't be described as black, why don't they call it people of colour's lives matter. because Black lives excludes Brown, and also yellow.
Every life matters even White.
If someone is attacked and the police ask for a description, it really narrows it down to describe the assailant as a person of colour! It's all gone on far too long! It is beciming an irrelevant protest now. The longer it goes on the less impact it has. I think they could do it at the beginning, middle and end on and that would act as a reminder with more impact!

Ive read Taylor's interview on Nottinghamshire live and agree with every word he says on the issue what a top bloke lyle is, well done to him saying and standing up for what he believes to be right obviously he's got a back bone good on you taylor.
People are people there colour is irrelevant everyone should be treated with respect, people should be judged for themselves not judged on the colour of there skin (people matter) .

My daughter met him when he came to Forest Women’s Team to support his cancer charity. Great guy, level headed, articulate, intelligent, humble and very likeable. Grafted his heart out for the team yesterday and scored a great goal. He should be first on the team sheet every time imo.

I would go down on any knee for any one, faith, colour or race . People are all the same to me, we are all together, equal, even through brexit.
I sometimes don't agree with what you are saying, but I defend your right to say it. So the saying goes.
