After January if -
Grabban, Christie, Ameobi, Christie, Freeman (as a minimum) aren’t gone with a couple of decent players brought in. Then we’ll struggle to stay up.
For me we only need 4/ 5 good players and we’ll improve massively.
RB - need someone that can drive us forward be sound attacking and defending.
CDM/ CM - need somebody that can add a bit of extra quality to the final 3rd and set a tempo to our okay.
Winger - desperately need a winger with serious pace and technical ability to progress.
Striker - we need someone that can actually score and take chances when they arrive.
Attacking mid/ versatile forward - could do with someone that can interwoven their position in games and cause nightmares for teams. Someone with serious skill and passing ability.

Of course it’s easy to say that’s what we need but we all know we won’t sign anybody useful this transfer window.

What needs to happen is that football shuts down. The virus is affecting clubs and players families at all levels. Stop this madness now and give the country the neccessary time to heal.
It would also stop forest wasting any more time and money on castaway no hopers. Has knockhaert returned to Fulham etc etc. We need to terminate a load of contracts buckaroo etc and return in Feb with a stripped down lean machine.
Will Grabban depart? I doubt it now with the virus situation, shame as as see him as paet of the bonding problems. Get rid and let taylor and mighten loose in the next game.
I don't understand how golf can be stopped where responsibly played by millions, who like many need some release from the insanity, yet irresponsible millionaire footballers are allowed to play on with no crowds for what purpose? Feeding the gambling fraternity that now virtually own the game.

The lockdown won't work anyway.
They say stay at home and only make essential journeys and yet everywhere is open for click and collect.
I can work in strangers houses fitting kitchens and bathrooms but can't go into my daughter's or sons houses.
Is it really a necessity that people have home improvements done?
I don't think so if a boiler brajes down your you have an electrical problem then yes its neccessary.
McDonald's and greggs plus all the other fast food outlets should be closed all they do is make people make unnecessary journeys.
Its only a lickdown for some and not been thought through.

Does the government activate any scientific advice, or make it up on the spur of the moment?

Putting it the way you have makes me wonder.

Just wondering why people need telling what to do all the time, can’t people just use their own common sense?

I agree Stevie f, the trouble is some do not like change, others are ignorant, and others are selfish.

The answer is no stevie they can't.
While people in hospitality and retail are seeing their livelihoods put in serios jepoardy there are many making a fast buck.
I could do that stevie i have been given a licence to work non stop.
But if its not safe to walk into my daughter's home then why is it ok to walk into strangers houses in the name of the construction industry?
You only get a virtual kitchen design as its not safe for a designer to go in or a customer to visit a showroom but its ok for me to spend a week or two fitting it?
Like i can do that virtual?
If you announce lockdown then make it lockdown cus people with somewhere to go will.
