Reading down these posts since yesterday, I'd just like to say, if this is the reaction to a win, at a place we don't win at very often, I'm glad we didn't get beat, no it wasn't great to watch, but conditions weren't exactly conducive to pretty football, it was the type of away performance that nearly got us top 6 last year, we have now gone 5 unbeaten, the manager now has a bit of respite before the next league game, to sort a few things out, this squad is not a bottom half squad, and I don't believe we will finish bottom half, despite what some say on here it has proven quality championship players, and I believe will improve now the manager is at least being consistent with his selections, we've all got different opinions on who should be in the team, but that's the lot of any manager, I don't get all the negativity on the back of 5 unbeaten, just saying,

Agree3 Disagree0

Stevie mate we bossed the first half did everthing right barring the final ball.
Same at stoke we bossed the second half.
It is five unbeaten but its only seven points.
No shots on target is always going to spell trouble and remember they hit the woodwork twice, we won't be that lucky every game.
Its not moaning its a fact and a worrying one.
Opinions divide opinions.

Guys i only point out as i see it and i think you will find i have been glowing about many aspects of our developing game. Ff i thought it was 2 wins and 3 draws 9 points.

My mistake.
But doesn't gliss over the real problem.

Ff79 I respect your point of view, but I think a few games unbeaten might build some confidence, most of these players are underperforming, and a bit of confidence will do them a world of good,

Confidence is massive stevie as is team spirit as carlo pointed out.
The way we set up and play lacks goals though.
To me we haven't changed since karanka, same old boring football with mass turnover of players.
Everyone was criticising Lamouchi for his tactics but it seems its not allowed to say hughton is no better?

It will build some confidence which may breed some better performances, it needs to because games will not be won consistently with 1 shot on target, that really does need to change very quickly but conceding less is a good habit to build what’s needed for a winning habit .

Stevie, just answering your point directly, yesterday - great to win a game of football and frankly I doubt anyone Weill pop to deepdale and deliver a convincing performance.

That said I don’t think it matters who we play at the minute we just can’t produce a performance that shows a unified team that has a plan. Football is a team game, if the lack of unification and cohesion doesn’t worry you, fair enough but it tells me there are things wrong at the club that will continue to make us Struggle.
