Good to get three valuable points but it needed a penalty as our huge limitations at scoring from open play are blatantly clear due to CH almost fear of commiting players forward in numbers. Just watch any decent team on tv and going forward have anything from 6 to 8 players in and around the opposition penalty area. Then watch Forest, usually 4 or 5, easily outnumbered and outfought by 8 or so defenders. You don't have to be a super coach or a tactical wizaard to see what the obvious problem is, lack of numbers and often a lack of quality as seen by the wayward crossing yesterday. Before we can make any significant progress, tactics must change to make us a much more OFFENSIVE team, enabling us to go out and win games from a positive attacking mindset, not hoping just for a penalty or a set piece goal. Having said that I also think in truth there is almost zero chance of it happening with CH and his unwillingness to change. Fingers crossed we can become that positive type of side like so many others one day soon. U REDS.

spot on mate and that's my main concern. sometimes it seems like we could be playing forever and not score a goal. strikers aren't getting the service, midfielders don't chip in with goals and even when we're on top the crossess going in are terrible. defence is looking better and we aren't letting many goals in but i'm always worried where the goals are going to come from. yates for example gets in some great positions but hasn't scored a single goal yet and as for cafu, i don't rate him at all. lolley seems to have lost his shooting boots and i was expecting a lot more from knockeart. ch has some serious thinking to do in this window.

Listening to houghton after the pne game he sounds very Shaw of himself and dosent sound like changing tactics but like chris says if we put the early chances away first half we win a lot more comfortably so the chances are coming just need to stick em in the back of the net imo we should stick with houghton and Worrall as joe Worrall is a red he hates derby great interview joe should be captain imo .
Grabbs just needs to start smashing the ball in the net but a goal from grabbs yesterday is a great start to 2021 you reeeedddddssss.

A win is a win and, in our present situation that is what counts. Preston Away was never going to be a goalfest and, from the start, I was just hoping we'd somehow eke out a result. I think Knockaert has improved massively since he first arrived. Does anyone know if there's a realistic prospect of his loan being extended?

One goal and one assist in sixteen appearances?
And on premier wages.
Thanks for the memories.

Don't care how we do it, just climb the table . Used to be honest, well fairly honest in sport, but what the hell. Cheat if you have to, as we know it's the only way! .
