Although we won yesterday I think I saw what the real problem at the club is ,Samba made a great save but got no congratulery pats or facial recognition from the defenders round him ,Grabban scored a very important pen. but Yates had to urge players to huddle round him ,this is not how it should be in a TEAM .
On the subject of Yates ,he may have a lot to learn but his lungs are Premier League quality ,that why managers like him ,he’s a Duracell battery,you can,t learn that.

Spot on Carlo. I noticed that Yates had to encourage others to celebrate and congratulate Grabbs. A welcome 3 points. Defensively generally sound. Midfield kept it tight rather than being expansive. Balls into the box from Ameobi, Christie and Ribeiro atrocious. It’s time to grind out results and accumulate points rather than dream of pretty football. We can do that when we are safely in mid table.

Carlo, if we’d have signed yates we simply would not tolerate his performances . Your either good enough or you’re not and we shouldn’t tolerate players who aren’t good enough just because they came through our academy . Yates has had loads of game time and is actually getting worse not better .

Ps Carlo - you’re spot on ref team spirit though. If the manager doesn’t resolve this then it’s something far outside what he can influence in which case if I were him, I’d quit because until it’s resolved, we are going nowhere .

I think Forest should play with wing backs and have Yates in the middle of the back three. Just a thought.

yates has no end product! you cannot stay in the team just because you put in a massive effort. if that's the case i should be playing for England at everything. we need one sweeper in the midfield and at least 2 attacking mids not two def mid.
