Let's all get on the Marinakis out bandwagon, how many on here moaned about Ben Watson and Tiago Silva last season, mainly the top posters on here, They are basically all that's missing from the side that kept us in the top six most of last season apart from Matt Cash, we signed a IMO at the time a good replacement in Christie as cover who'd just won promotion, we signed Arter for CM another who had won promotion, we signed Colback DM from the prem, Knockerhart from the prem, Taylor top scorer at Charlton, McKenna scotland CB, Lamic Soh a 19 year old with huge potential for £3m, on paper we should have a squad to finish in the top six, who could have envisaged Samba Figueredo and Grabban between them would cost us a good 15 points through sloppy play and abysmal finishing, ok the players we've signed haven't worked but before a ball was kicked most of us thought they were all good signings and would see us near the top, so IMO Marinakis has backed the club but its the players who've let him and the fans down'.

I agree skeg, he definitely wants what's best for the club. The big mistake was hiring Haughton, a like for like with Lamouchi, just a bit more clueless.

Ultimately it is his fault he has decided who should be running the club, they have created a bad environment at the club and the team was crying out for attacking options, the 16m was wasted, much like as before, only McKenna out of that list would I have got, unfortunately he picked up an injury, was looking forward to seeing if he could form partnership with worrall. Can’t see that happening now as Worrall be gone jan or latest in summer. Do I think the chairman should go, absolutely I if he does not change the people at the top.

Arter - injured every other week. Colback injured, McKenna injured, Freeman injured, Christie good pace going forward, no end product and crucially can’t defend which is his job, Taylor, a solid champ striker who most would agree was in as decent back up for Grabban and give another option. Mbe Soh plays well but gets rewarded by being dropped. Knockaert just hasn’t produced for whatever reason. The rest where bizarre crazy punts that haven’t worked. The one thing you can’t sign is a team spirit and togetherness which Sabri created last season up until the Derby game after which something obviously changed behind the scenes. Since then it all went down hill. As for Silva and Watson, throw in a Sow or Yates and Sabri found a midfield blend that worked, wasn’t pretty but was until a point effective. Create a team spirit and solve the midfield puzzle and I think we can get out of this.

Skegby I couldn’t agree more with your post . Football like every game has a big mental element . Barnsley last season nearly relegated, now flying high. We have the building blocks of a good side. Big M must be tearing his hair out thinking what do I do next? Throw yet more money at the club? Like Wednesday change the manager - again.

It is this simple stop thinking your maggots are trustworthy and remove them from the club ‘a structure ‘ is as bad as no structure if those in the structure aren’t fit for purpose. We don’t want him to just throw money at the club, it won’t work it never has with anyone else either .
