I wonder if we will ever string two halves of football together in the same match where we actually have a high tempo and take the game to the opponent? We never seem to start playing unless we are behind.
An improved second half and a point hides the fact that were absolute garbage in the first period. I thought Grabban and Cafu were awful last night but loved the endeavours of Ribs charging up the left. Worrall lead by example again and if Knockaert wasn’t so ball greedy We would have had other chances. Having said that some of Knock’s crosses were brilliant but he should have played Taylor in when he had the chance.
Baby steps, but my mind hasn’t altered in thinking half that team we put out just aren’t interested, aren’t good enough or perhaps both.

We have a big problem with our mid field. Yates and Cafu should be benched but who do we bring in. Grabban is not getting going . I know he was injured but still there has been a significant time with just one goal . Taylor gets 10/ 10 for effort but is down on ball skills. There is no chance without further daft money of getting another striker or midfielder so we must use our own resources, ie loan players or some neglected squad players. Yates has energy a plenty but again no nouce with the ball . CH is a seasoned manager who must endlessly look at videos of matches. This season is about survival next season maybe.

I actually feel sorry for yates, yes he looks like a non league player but he’s being asked to do the Ben Watson role and he simply hasn’t got the brains or the skill. He’s the back up to sow abs that’s his bag . He isn’t equipped for what he’s being asked to do . A replacement for Ben Watson is an absolute must now, semedo, pele, bouchalakis, bridcutt, guedioura were all the type we need to partner sow, Yates isn’t that type of player in his defence .

Well to be honest 2star i totally disagree with you. any player who graces the city ground pitch such as yates is very well payed and should be privileged . this lot were playing with don't do appreciate either. And i'm sick of it all. Sorry mate.

First of all my my apologies to 2star. as i have probably used the term (feel sorry for) myself . i'm a 59yr old forest fan. now look back at clough reading these posts. Yes but no but. The end of the day peter Taylor chose dinosaurs who could play. clough could manage them like no other. Believe me they were unreal. Like winning the lottery. and clough because of his magic had some power over the board. Now get your head out of your a###s and reds and get in touch with reality. what we need is a little luck . with the January window and on the field. All the best u reds luv ya ðŸ‘.

Using the term feel sorry for 2star. Yates does work. Does he break up play yes. Full stop. he's had the same training as jack passback. Can only see backwards. Cannot shoot to save his life. Cannot head a ball to save his life. cannot put a through baĺl. The only upside for yates is he plays with his heart. Which ok is a lot more than most of the rest but is not good enough to bring us forward. One player who can is joe lolley. But for maybe 60 mins.
