One we own and is much much younger Fulham are going to want 7m minimum for Knockaert.
I just feel if you preserved with Carvalho and gave him a run in the side he would come good better than Freeman by a mile.

Bottom line is we sign players permanently but then decide to bring loans in for them?
So we sign players on 3 year deals on good wages but before they get given a chance we sign loan players to replace them.

Carvahlo is a young player we took from benfica youth team with no experience of top flught football.
Got that first taste with us .
Should we have paid 15 million? No
But we had a player called oliver burke who we sold for 2 mill less and he's had club after club.
Its a massive gamble for clubs that see potential in any player because these two are an example of what the outcome can be.

Stevie i wouldn't have signed colback knockheart cafu the suck note from malmo blackett Christie or freeman and taylor that's just a few.

Sadly you’re right . I would have signed Taylor but only as a backup or alternative option signing . A bit like when we had earnshaw and added adebola . Somehow he’s been deemed the flagship signing, he’d have made a decent backup, perhaps that’s what was meant, a backup to grabban but sadly he’s now our main first choice striker which he was probably never Meant to be . We just keep whinging about a 3 star hotel but never upgrading by that I mean we replace players who weren’t good enough with another raft of the same . No doubt the owners muppets is ruining the club like never before .
