Had a great game, hopefully he starts burying some of the chances he’s involved in and we will have a complete midfielder on our hands. I also think Colback had a good game despite what some say.

Hes the only midfielder to have the energy to play that role in our squad and for a young player its a hard role.
Hes learning his trade and has played under every coach since karanka which is some achievement when you. think of how many midfielders we keep signing.

Colback for the money he gets at a Championship club should not be having the odd good game, he should be having very good games on a regular basis.

Didn’t see all of the game but for what I saw Yates and Colback had cracking games . I felt we were close to unlocking a well drilled side towards the end but we are lacking that killer touch . It’s hard to watch for sure and we looked a bit wobbly at the back here and there. When area where I feel we are no where near as strong is full back . I still feel it’s going to be a long season but there is now reason why draws can’t become a sequence of wins .

Well Get Forward I live in the real world and for me Colback will only get better as he gets fitter. Believe it or not though he will make mistakes as will all the team and to be honest I really couldn’t care what his wages are.

Colback has struggled and has been a shadow of his former self, I’m reserving judgement until he’s properly fit which I think will be by end of November.

Stevie I usually agree with your posts but I'm with Get Forward on Colback, poor signing IMO he's playing in the Ben Watson roll but can't for the life of him see a forward pass, sideways and backwards, you say he's quality at this level, what exactly are his qualities with the amount of space he had last night he should be running the job but he is clueless, he hasn't got enough in his game for me, also very very slow.

Skebyred i totally agree mate that's the reason i never wanted him back.
Never impressed me first or second time round and like I've always said no Newcastle manager wanted him but couldn't get rid because of his wages and no other clubs came in for him only us mugs at 30k a week.
You expect top quality atttacker or top quality attacking midfielder for that price.

colbeck was crap last time he was at forest on loan. why he was bought . god only knows he is a waste of wages paid.

I think Colback is very limited at centre mid, he should be able to boss games at this level having premiership experience, but whenever I have seen him I have noticed he is very much one left foot and the right is for standing on. This limits him in the position he is in Receiving and playing the ball forwards, therefore the number of sideways passes he has to do due to his inability to use his other foot, in the first half of the game at Luton shocking to be honest for a supposed premiership footballer. A squad player at best for me Arter and Yates far more balanced.

FF79 just a few pointers regarding Bo Derek as requested. She was undoubtedly the best 10 of her generation mate no matter who’s shirt she was wearing (or not wearing as the case may be) . I remember a diminutive chap called Dudley Storey Moore often played just inside her but dropping into the hole when the opportunity arose! 😇🤪.
