I always liked young Cloughie think he would do alright for us. Although he would always be compared to his old man I don't think that would bother him. I know he ruffled the forest feathers a few times during his time as shaggers manager it was always banter and an understanding of how far the feelings go being on either side of the road that divides the 2 cities. But his loyalty to Forest is second to none and far greater than the shaggers.

Non league Nigel can forget it, he was sounded out about the job previously and turned it down. His actions as Derby boss towards us says it all really. Cheers Nigel but no thanks. Fond memories of your goals for us but for me that’s all they should remain- memories.

Think most of us are happy with Chris.
The problem is?
Will the owners give him long enough to succeed?
We need a clearout yet again as this squad isn't good enough just for once let him pick his own players.
Some how i think marinakis expects promotion this season and that's not going to happen.
So i see another change of manager in fact back to a foruegn coach.
Thats not what i want but think that's what will happen.

I’m happy with Hughton.
Nigel is one of my hero’s and I think he’d struggle to create the magic the expectation would bring. Like Pearce he’s name will always be written in the finest style, I just feel they’ve both got something to live up to that no one can . Personally I bear no grudge against him, clough Davies spats were pure pantomime made a great contribution to what I think is the most unique rivalries in football. It’s the geography that makes it and the old towns along the border is what fuels it.
