Not entirely convinced with all this talk of our fitness levels being lower than the oppositions being partly to blame for our recent form.
For me it's purely a hangover from last season which knocked the confidence completely.
Looking back it's easy to blame lockdown and wonder what path our season would have taken without it.
Even before that though cracks had started to appear with the Millwall debacle just before lockdown.
For me it hinged on 2 key moments. The Sheep's fortuitous late equaliser when we were playing so well in that game as we were never the same after that. Also the Barnsley match where it's anyones guess what he was playing at with that team selection when we only needed a result against a team in the bottom 3.
Confidence is a major factor in any sport and until the players stop feeling sorry for themselves and either score a goal or get a result this poor form could drag on for sometime.
Unless Lamouchi is replaced ASAP of course 😉.

Spot on fred the sheep equaliser was the turning point.
Does make you wonder what was said in the dressing room after that match.

Got to agree, I think you have hit the nail smack on top of the head, how ever we have got into this state is beyond me, his it me or what, but after 20 minutes or so if we can't break a team down we seem to throw in the towel, their is o plan B.

There’s hardly anyone left in the first team that played last season. If we actually take our chances when created we will be fine. It will come, it will all work out fine.

I agree with most of what you’re saying Red, but on the confidence thing, with the players in last season’s squad, yes it could be a lack of confidence, but that shouldn’t have affected us on Saturday with seven new signings in the squad and I do realise they have to gel, but surely no confidence issues there . These are supposedly the players that SM wanted in so there should be no problems there, they all signed for him after all, we may see a difference on Saturday with another weeks training . let's hope so U REDS.

The damage has been done already though with the poor start to the season. Against QPR we started with 7 players from last season and against Cardiff it was 9. Only the last game had more new players than old. Regardless of new players the vibe in the dressing room can't be good and Lamouchi and his numerous backroom staff left over from last season are still shell shocked from last season.

The players will turn it around lead by a different coach,
