Reading all the great posts tonight and something sticks out. The players aren't fit, Arter indicated when Grabban came on that confusion reigns and we can't score and can't defend whereas last season we got the odd goal and hung on. We did that when we had lady luck on our side, when she deserted us we conceded late goals and finally capitulated end of season. Ginger don't bother reading or replying.
Oneil sensed the lack of fitness and aparantly the players revolted. Oneil identified the players required and wanted to trim the squad. He won 3 on the trot, which lamouchi has never done, and got the sack. Cafu on his way, with silva going the other way. Silva is not quite at it but has now experience of this league so is this a wise move?
Our fitness or lack of it is the most troubling and that is costing this as much as last season. Cloughie used to put the players through the crap pre season but once underway relaxed and let the games act as retention of fitness. It worked. One thing the forest of old did was battle and battle til the end. This squad has no fight nor the fitness to see it through. Its a mess and a growing mess. Team spirit none existant thanks to the indoor of dross.

While i agree to a certain point.
Clough always had a squad of 15 players times have changed and you need 22 max in my opinion.
Thirty odd and you could actually say 40 is the real problem.
Marinakis needs to understand these tactics haven't and won't work.
On a lighter note i'd love to have donald trump's accountants number, the government would be paying us all to go to work 🤣🤣.

Fair point pal, Lamouchi has often questioned the lack of preparation as an excuse when we have played poor maybe it is just the fitness. It always seemed strange that other teams be it teams with flair or your brusing physical teams always had that extra edge or extra yard, whatever the reasons something has to give soon.

For me watching forest it seems like the players 1) don’t know what they are supposed to be doing and 2) they don’t seem bothered the chase and give their all, Huddersfield broke twice late on and did anyone bust a gut for their pay check nope it was Huddersfield’s lack of finishing an that diakhaby was the one doing it lol should of lost 3-0.

I don't put anything down to lack of fitness as all the other teams have been in the same boat and if it is fitness then that's just piss poor management lack of brain power on the players side, I put our current predicament down to teams find it to easy to play us this season when you watch matches even last season the opposition play the ball better pass better move of the ball better, I think sabri as run out of ideas we are to defensive and lack the essential gile that's needed I'm no expert by any means but surely wed be better playing two upfront never held with this one up lark go back to roots of our game 442 may be old fashioned but it works.

Maybe Lambrini his coach status to let his cronies sort out the Fitness side?
After all they have to earn their keep somehow.

I know it’s a different planet, but watching Liverpool and Arsenal last night, the pace of play, and the work rate of world class players, put into perspective how ponderous and boring our ‘style ‘ is the coach is entirely to blame, he was a dismal uninspiring appointment, for which of course the owner must carry the can, but this bore of a coach needs to be gone before he does any more damage,
