Jake Taylor got very good reports from his time at Port Vale last season ,today
he scored a hat trick for the under 23,s ,he an attacking MF player but I,d say his chances of getting near the 1st team are low ,this is position we have limited choice with and a player like him should be encouraged but his path is blocked with our bloated squad.

Yeah agree what's the point in having an u23 team to pick players for the first team squad, which saves money in the long run and shows the wider community that young local talent can be used and let's young kids believe they can have a real go in making a future in football. Bizzare, baffling all to fund shocking wages for duff players.

Mighten has pace yes but not sure he understands the rules of the game fully yet.
Does he realise you can try and beat your man on the outside when you have him squared up instead of cutting in and you can appeal for a penalty when your clearly fowled in the box?
