Should the latest signings of McKenna and Iouniss come off, it will be a quite remarkable transformation . Literally a new team could take the field Friday. If the team had ;
Taylor, Freeman, Arter, Blackett, Christie, McKenna, Soh, Iouniss , Diallo, plus add Mighten and Ameobi .
Would anyone say this side could not be near the top of the championship. Surely Mr Maranakis has backed our club like no other? Maybe we should be eating humble pie? Surely who ever was the manager to win the championship with the above even one of us could do!

Their is a difference between backing and mayhem. We might get their in the end but talking sbout going round the houses wasting prescious resources and time. I feel thst finally dome with sense has been let out of the box.

It’s definitely one of the best teams on paper in the championship we need to get rid of the rot now get some money back but most importantly find our best 11 and stick to them all season bar injuries and it will take time but for me I would play Mighten in that 11 he looks like he could be great and gives a 110 percent for the shirt and that’s what we need out on that pitch and these signings doesn’t have Lamouchi written on them so something else big might happen yet.

The trouble is there are nine new players you have there, nine players that have not played together before.
They would need a pre term training, then the pre term games just to try and get them to gel so it is not going to work soon enough for success this term.
Each of us would choose to change a lot of players from last term but in truth the players leader should only change three, maybe four players from last terms team.
The term is a long slog so more of the players could be added to the team as injuries, bans and lack of form kick in.
Nine changes from the off is too many.

I appreciate the need for new players and to banish the debacle of the last game. But the squad is now far too large and surplus players are not leaving. They need to be moving on more than the five suggested by the NEP.

I think the new team starts Friday . These are professionals all of which can play . Of course a team spirit comes eventually and yes getting to know each other’s play . Surely you play your best 11 . My view I would drop Samba ( doesn’t leave his line ) , Lolley ( not the player he was ) Grabban ( hasn’t scored since the last Huddersfield match, Worrall Figs ( drop as not working ) . Riberio may be keep in the side, Yates ( loan out ) . There is no point signing players and not play them. SL has everything to loose if he plays the same ream as last week to start.

The trouble is the best eleven players do not always make the best team.
One player can be better than another player in the same position but the less talented one might read the game better and do the simple things well which in turn makes the team work better on a whole.

I agree the a team. However this is the third game we hope of a very long season . So start with your best and adjust there onwards.
